So I'm considering playing Lusternia again. Here's my questions-

Group combat. Still all about the demense and the summon? Daevos and I-person still 1 hit killing most people?

Aetherships. Are they cool? Worth learning the skillset if you want to be a crew member but don't intend to buy a ship? Any good ships running out of Celest?

Where my Juggalos at?

Paladins any good? If I do come back I will probably make Jelaludin a trill Paladin with the accent, furrikin was fun, but not as fun as my original gig was.

Why does Serenwilde have all the villages?

A 'juggalo' (depicted here in the wild) is a 'candy raver' with even worse dress sense, a propensity to wear facepaint, and who listens to rap music.

For those of you unfamilar with the topic, they're particularly devoted fans of the Insane Clown Posse, a rap group founded by some people that were young, young teenagers at the time and haven't stopped. Essentially, it's a slightly more juvenile equivalent of what would happen if someone took the Wu Tang Clan's '36 Chambers' business seriously.

I actually like "The Great Milenko" album. And a good bit of "The Amazing Jeckel Brothers", some of their other albums (as well as the groups they spawned) have never really caught my interest. But it fits certain moods.

There is, however, a difference between liking the music and actually getting that into the whole 'lifestyle' the people promote. I like Wu Tang, but I don't run around asking 'where my Shaolin gun clappers at' (I know that someone will correct me on this, but it's a rhetorical point). For that matter, I like M.I.A and a lot of the new British rap that's been coming out, but I don't wander around calling people 'breh' or 'rudeboy'.

However, I'm hesitant to say that anything is 'just music'.



They're not my words, but that's my opinion on music, and before the topic spins into offtopic OOCness, that's what it should be about - not a coercion into weird behaviours that turn out to be a prank in the end, but taken seriously.

The Dark Carnival has been a staple of IRE games since clans were introduced on achaea all those years ago... Hell, I am the current leader of it on Lusty and have been for ages. Jello, the juggalos are still goin strong, though we have a lot of new blood and less old blood, though we have enough old blood to keep things interesting.

And Sidra - Homies > The Great Milenko. It was about the only song off of The Wraith album that I actually love, but for good times it is probably their single best song.

Right, and let me be the first to say that at least on the other games, not nessecarily Lusternia, the Dark Carnival has been populated by some of the least intellegent people, the rudest people, and the most twisted people, that I've had the displeasure of meeting in a MUD. Part of the reason I have a knee jerk reaction is because of all this nonsense with the people of that clan for the most part being general arses to me. Now, on Lusternia, I don't dislike you, nor do I dislike Marcalo, or any of the others, but I absolutely detested Marcalo's character on Aetolia. Also, if you'll note, the whole ICP thing and anything related to it is OOC, hence part of the reason why I dislike it in game so much.

And if you had ever joined The Dark Carnival - the FIRST thing that ALL inductees read, is something telling them what the clan is like, and not only to keep things said on it OOC but with a huge grain of salt.
