Well since the summit is coming up, i'd just like to post some of my ideas for improvements to warriors to offset the probabl toning down of bashbrains, and give warriors more depth in the strategies they can go for.
Note that I'm wiriting these with the changed to the helm only giving 10% extra wounds instead of 30% at the moment, also also note that knockdown never stuns for longer than it takes to get my balance back.
First things first, Crucify. since the whole crucify thing is heavily biased towards nihilists, and almost totally useless for us knights, i'd like to add in a nice little couple of variances to the skill to help us out.
Option a: If the target already has all 4 limbs broken, then crucify returns the caster with instant EQ and one extra power, so if you had the whole 10 power and 4 limbs broken going into the move, you could pull off the sacrifice. This would also change sacrifice so ONLY the caster of crucify can sacrifice the victim.
Option b: If the target is afflicted with burstorgans or disembowel, when the cross jerks their limbs to break them for the first time and the first time only, it causes excruciating pain to their already heavily wounded gut, and deals 50% of their max health once and once only. Given the rarity of burstoprgans (one hit out of every 5 when gt is at 8k wounds) and the fact that crucify is 8 power, you could only crush for the burstorgans once which is a lucky shot, so parry stance and rebounding would be plenty of time to cure it. The only effective way to do this would be to have their legs on a regen cure first, and then get burstorgans and have the 8 power left over.
Now for knighthood in general, given the hopeful nerfing of bashbrains and behead so they are a little harder to get, i recommend these options, all centered around getting the opponent prone, i don't think its biased towards bonecrusher because mangleleg and breakleg don't send the opponent prone, whereas amputate and tendon do.
option a: When the victim is prone and the warrior has full balance on both arms, he can perform a brutal kick to the downed opponent , dealing x% damage/stun/knock-off-balance/more gut wounds, where / means or.
option b: Assuming when you fall you fall flat on your back (otherwise how do i break your nose when you're prone) then you can perform option a: or a different move which takes balance to kick them onto their stomach, and then once you get balance back assuming they are still prone (IE only if you managed to get a double leg mangle or tendon on them, or something else to get them prone long enough) you could perform a kidneyshot(bonecrusher/axelord or spinalshot/doubleimpaleandrend (blademaster and pureblade) where it would do a lot more damage based on your strength, for each time you could do it. Make it perhaps take power so you can't just crush/lunge/assault/sweep for the proneness. Or have a power version and a non power version, obviously the power version doing a lot more damage.
so basically if we can't bashbrains because its hopefully going to be a LOT harder to get, you can work down their wounds on legs etc and be able to finish them in a different manner, adding to the diversity of the class and not overpowering it too much.
It'd also add to the coolness factor, like you see on movies and in books where one knight gets the other one prone for long enough to dominate them, nothing cooler than the mental image i get of a knight bearing down upon you after beating you solidly so you cant stand back up, and finishing them off.
I was thinking of an instakill where they have to be prone, takes 5 seconds and ends up ripping their head and spine out that you keep for a trophy but that's a bit Scorpio from Mortal Combat.
If you are going to rip these suggestions apart, please add in ways to fix them/balance them up, rather than just rubbishing them because you're in a bad mood/are an asshole.

No... other than the fact that your advice to make the world better will probably throw us all into apocylipse...

Have you spoken with your envoy?
Murphy2006-02-26 02:20:30

I'm sure many people would disagree as to the need for any further upgrades to warrior's offense.

CAST BLAST MURPHY
You cast a bright red light at Murphy, making him scratch the place it hit.
Murphy bashes you down for 5,000 bleeding
Murphy rips your head an spine out in a sick twisting crunch
CAST BLAST MURPHY
I'm sorry, You need a body to do that.
EDIT: I can honestly see that happening in combat.

Dude I'm going to bitchslap you, you play a text game and yet you fail to read.
I said these changes come along with other nerfs to warriors.
