After thinking about this, it dawns on me that this sort of contract isn't unique. These types of contracts are quite popular in bdsm relationships to clearly establish the rights of the master and the rights of the slave. The idea is that both parties have a chance to accept/reject the contract on their own, but once they enter into it, there is this false sense that it is binding for the length of time established in it.
This makes me wonder what sort of relationship the two had. While this doesn't justify that the man in this case is obviously in need of a full psychological evaluation, I was reading about this in a psychology text book, and it mentioned how after a domination/submission relation ends especially on a very sour note, the slave, even if entering into a situation by free will will often be portrayed as a victim.
I'm not saying this is the case in this specific incident, but I think that's food for thought.

Quite.
Not that there's not a lot of other parts that are ... suspect (how's that for a harmless-sounding word?) at least superficially, the one sentence I dislike the most is in the Misbehavior & Noncompliant section: "even if you state that you are in pain or that something hurts." Most of the rest could theoretically be in the spirit of ... whatever, but once someone's in pain (meh, should I clarify by saying "unwanted pain" for ... some circles/interests?) that's crossing the line and leaving the spirit of even any mutually consenting thing.

Not Really Nars...I mean yea you're right but like..
Anyone who knows anything about BDSM knows it is the written and unwritten rule that the Sub has 100% control as to what gets to be done, it is always his/her call.

PS: I'd still like to get man hands on this guy...

I'm wondering how she could say yes when he asked her to marry him?
Or... if how he managed to hide this side of himself until they got married

Which is the whole point of the contract, my dear. The sub is made aware and agrees by form of contract as to what will be done. It isn't unheard of hardcore masochists to sign away their rights to object even if it in severe pain because that is in fact their drive.
laith2006-02-23 17:13:10
oh then why did she show it to the police???

Thats why anyone whos a sub has a buzzword something that you wouldnt use in the act ever like macaroni or forum or whatever, If something gets to sore or nasty you just say it and they should stop.
Simimi2006-02-24 16:20:45
and if they do not stop, you can kill them with a blunted spork in the anus.
