Well, Suhnaye's wife is beyond reach, all of his kids are grown and have kids of their own, he's no longer the fanatic pacifist anymore, though he is currently a hermit. Simply put, I'm bored, and I'd like to hear some ideas on what to do with him. I know he'd be relatively welcome in any of the societys of the basin... Though it would be rather... Odd... For him to rejoin Serenwilde, considering his aversion to Lisaera, but I'm sure there'd be a way around that... And I doubt he'd join the Shadowdancers...Maybe one of the other Glom guilds... He's rather jaded, but he's never been nieve or blind, and never will be. He has no aversion to the taint, though he'll never be tainted himself... But being tainted isn't a pre-requisite for being Magnagoran as I understand em. Joining celest... I doubt it, its already too mixed up for him to make sense of, and he hates hypocrites... So most of Celests people would drive him completely nuts... Though that could be a fun role to play if Celest didn't kick him out too quick.
All that said. Bring on the ideas. As long as it doesn't destroy what he's been and can be run with, I'm interested.

Join Magnagora as a mount. We can ride you around, whipping you and throwing you at the swarms of snugglewilders. It'll be great fun.
..yeah.
..yeah.
Penelope2006-03-01 04:32:37
Dunno what's wrong with the Shadowdancers...unless it's me....
Verithrax2006-03-01 05:40:34
Meh, hating Lisaera never stopped me from being a Serenwilder, you just have to do it secretly.
Unknown2006-03-01 06:15:45
I would really like to see some new established names in Magnagora, become a geomancer and help us dominate the lands with insanity. Oh and yrael, what is that thing in your avatar?

Its got nothing to do with you or any of the people in the Shadowdancers. Its just kind of opposite of everything he really sees philosophically

Pffft! We wouldn't take you! Suhnaye is just the opposite of Glomdoring in general. I can't imagine any good RP reason for him to make a life in Glom.

Daganev2006-03-01 19:22:16
I know your going to hate me for this, however I would suggest working yourself as a merchant of some kind.. get a shop and make it damn good. I know magnagora is lacking good shops.
Then, hold out and wait for Halifax and Gauiduahg or Ackelberry, and make one of those your new community.
Also you might want to try finding a god you like and being a neutral prophet for them. But I find mercantilsm to be the most time consuming and least boring option for someone who can't find a community to live in. Better to not pick one then to end up getting a reputation of a community and guild hopper and wasting all your investments due to uncertainty.

Nekobussu in the sig, a neopet? in the avatar.
Richter2006-03-01 22:32:43
It comes up as Nekobasu, but that's only his sig. No idea wtf his avatar is.
Unknown2006-03-01 22:36:20
That's why it's labeled WTF.
Personally, it looks like the ghost "Slimer" from Ghostbusters was turned into a centaur only with a sheep's body instead of a horse.

Not to hijack Suhnaye's thread, but Yrael's avatar is from an avatar from a WoW clan which is sponsored by blank label comics... thats where the trail ended for my search

It's definitely not a neopet. I love that website and know all the critters.
Yrael2006-03-02 00:11:28
It's a default forum avatar from the Panda Attack guild on the World of Warcraft Dark Iron server, the people I used to laugh and butcher, being from a Penny Arcade one. War is fun!
No clue where it came from before that, although I do spend around 10 minutes staring at it every now and then. I suppose it wouldn't be so creepy if it had a snout sort of thing. And some eye whites.
Stop asking. Please.

Daganev... While I certainly understand your reasoning, Suhnaye has been Rogue for almost 30 years now. He has proven fairly explicitly, that he doesn't make descisions flippantly or without reason. He will -NEVER- be a "Guild hopper", period. If Hallifax or Gaudiguch, or Ackleberry return within a few years of his joining a new guild, its quite likely he'd be inclined to move, as he'd still be relatively unsettled. If he's become imbedded with a new guild by the time a new city or commune comes out, its iffy if I'd move him. The entire reason for asking for ideas is because I'm sick and tired of being Rogue. 30 years, and I've had it, a little socialization sounds rather enjoyable, particularly outside of the Whytetower clan. As for being a merchant, he's deffinetly capable, but he has little interest in gold, merchantry, or such things, his whole thing is philosophy, thinking, working with people... Most people outside the Whytetowers don't notice most of that anymore... He's grown enourmously since leaving Serenwilde. As for becomming a neutral prophet... The last thing I intend to do is have him walk down the same path his wife did. He no longer even HAS anyone to turn to, to help him through all the foolishness people stick prophets. He'd end up so jaded he'd just one day up and walk out of the basin, and not look back. I like a couple gods, but Suhnaye's not the worshiping type. He's way too free thinking to give into pure religious zealotry. Which sadly makes him being a member of any society in the basin iffy.

That's why you got to False Memory, perform a Ritual to erase your Memory and then live happily ever after in Glomdoring. Plus, you forget all the annoying people. And bad things you did in the past.
Ash still doesn't know why he's enemied to Paavik or Landantine.
