It should have a way to offer a 'lesser' favour than you're capable of offering.
For example, Ixchilgal is GR19. Sometimes, people do things that are worthy of a Guildfavour...but not of a GR19 Guildfavour. Say, a GR10 Guildfavour. But we don't -have- anyone who's GR10. Because we don't like giving out high level Guildfavours to people when a lower level one would've sufficed.
So, I should be able to "Guildfavour at gr10" to denote that yes, they got a favour, but of lesser value than my full favour would offer.
Similar with disfavours...sometimes, people screw up and need a slap on the hand. Not a bitchslap to the face. With spiked gloves. While someone else rapes their family dog.

Then just rape their dog but don't GDF them
Or just do it and require them to harden up, they won't do it again.

It is?
When I think of "harden up" I think of casting barkskin/stoneskin, so the insults sort of bounce off of you instead of seeping in and making you pissed off.
I don't see how that is sexist.
Richter2006-03-12 00:29:47
Harden up is like toughen up. Get over it.
And he's right about the GF or GDF, I wish it weren't based on guild rank, because then when people need a GF, it takes different amounts of them to get to another rank.

It indeed would be handy to moderate gf/gdf power, especially as an elected person.

Why would getting an erection toughen you up?
Tsuki2006-03-12 00:54:44
We all know what Ialie's thinking about now, I guess?
Why would getting an erection toughen you up?
Hmm, maybe there's testosterone or adrenaline or stuff that make one more resistant to pain while erect?
I propose a study to determine whether getting an erection would indeed toughen one up! We could ask some of you guys to volunteer for a simple experiment, enlist a partner and conduct the test, and then answer these two questions:
1. While flaccid, getting kneed in the crotch hurt, on a scale from 1-10, approximately a ___.
2. While erect, getting kneed in the crotch hurt, on a scale from 1-10, approximately a ___.
You don't want to stand in the way of science, do you?
*cough*

ANYWAY
I don't think is necessary as the gap between GFs doesn't seem to actually matter a lot anyway. It's not as though people are in danger of getting super high GRs if an admin/gm/champion GFs them too much instead of spreading out.

Methinks the Shiri stands in the way of science!
(Yes, I was looking for a distraction and this worked well.)
Back on topic, it might be interesting to be able to vary one's (dis)favour weight, but other GRs are rather nebulous. Maybe actually recognizing the different weights of favours would be helpful? Something like:
GR5-8 : approval (lightly weighted favour)
GR8-12: approval, appreciation (medium weighted favour)
GR12-15: approval, appreciation, confidence (stronger favour)
GR15-19: approval, appreciation, confidence, respect (heaviest favour, or almost)
And then either add a final favour type for GM/GA/GC, or include them with the GR15-19 bracket. So someone getting favoured could see something like:
Tsuki has favoured you with her appreciation.
Nejii has favoured you with his confidence.
Ibaesha has favoured you with her respect.
Zenji has favoured you with his approval.
Or be more expansive and make it nicer:
Demonstrating appreciation for your work, {Tsuki has favoured you|you have been favoured by Tsuki}.
etc, etc.

After vigorous, painful testing, the results are above.

When Men are "excited", the scrotum sac tightens up, thus likely providing a little protection from the kick, and the pleasure sensations might help to numb the pain.
Of course, I never experienced being hurt they when "excited" either, so I'm not using personal experience, just some biological facts.
We now return you to the thread...

It's better if you don't point them out, though. Then those who notice it can laugh and those who don't notice it, those who did can laugh at them.
