Anyone have list of what afflictions are cured by focus mind and spirit?
ferlas2006-03-13 16:02:45
Hmm for focus mind I think this is what it cures

impatience, anorexia, stupidity, agoraphobia, claustrophobia, confusion, dizziness, weakness, epilepsy, vertigo, clumsy

Someone said dissonant but I havnt got a clue what that affliction is or does just its cured by horehound.

Focus spirit cures omen, stagcurse, and stops the glowing effect from Heretic/Infidel.

EDIT: And that crazy Moon thing, where they "turn widdershins". But only the targetted version.

And more shite, too, but that's all I remember.
Saran2006-03-13 18:14:24

Ixion2006-03-13 18:23:05

Sure.

As long as it's a trans skill in a common skillset. kiss.gif

I was trying to find out more about the heritic inquision glowing and when to use focus spirit but I couldn't find anything or anyone who knew much about it really.

As far as I know, it works like this: If they cast heretic / infidel on you, you can focus spirit and it stops you from glowing. HOWEVER, the affliction still is on you, so if they know when to go to the next step they can do it even if you don't actually glow.

Some old file of mine says focus mind also cures:
loneliness, recklessness, masochism.
Could someone verify that?
Ixion2006-03-13 19:30:08
Verified.

Erm so priest X casts it on me and I instantly use focus spirit, the focus spirit wont remove the heritic/etc constantly giving me afflictions but it will stop me from glowing. You glow randomly so now that I don't glow they cant be sure when to use the next stage.

Is that right or am I not understanding it right?
Unknown2006-03-13 20:38:12
yeah your right

Yea if i use heretic on you you are still can be hit with infidel in random windows, then you glow. If you used focus spirit before it i wont see glowing. I could still try and hit with infidel maybe i will hit in your opened aura. But each try failed or no, use 500 mana.

Focus spirit cures:
targetted darkmoon, targetted ancestralcurse, omen, heretic/infidel glow, faeriefire, binah, possibly something else I'm forgetting.
Athana2006-03-13 22:44:32
I'm pretty sure it cures that "hated by the trees" thing that druid demesnes give as well
Yrael2006-03-13 22:56:33
Spirit cures darkseed, too.

Thank god. I need trans Disci, fast.
Jack2006-03-15 15:28:23
You know how much goddamned mana in takes, right?

In fact, doesn't f-spirit scale with the power cost of the skill itself, so the more power it costs them, the more mana it takes to cure it?

...no.

It's a quarter.
Jack2006-03-15 15:51:00
A quarter of.. what?
