Okay.. I am confused. Long time ago recipes for chocolate were refused because we were told it didn't exist because there were no jungles, but now.. it exists.. Where did it come from and why is chocolate now accepted but Vanilla isn't?

I am so confused.

Crumkindivia could have brought chocolate liberation to the Basin?

Maybe, not sure.
Ialie2006-03-17 07:22:17
There is no sign of chocolate there.
Viravain2006-03-17 08:27:38
What exactly are you referring to? Chocolate doesn't seem to exist in, and none of us have heard of it suddenly being accepted in recipes. Do you mean a mobile or something else?
Unknown2006-03-17 08:39:25
Prety sure there are a few recipes creeping around with just a bit of chocolate worded into their design, not sure, but i know there is one or two.
Viravain2006-03-17 08:43:01
It's been checked, and the only items with chocolate/coco(excluding coconut)/cocoa in them that exist belong to divine - who obviously can just imagine up a temporary jungle if need be.

It's because chocolate is black....

OMG the admins are all racist
Unknown2006-03-17 14:35:40
Erm, there's white chocolate too. tongue.gif

And greeny mint chocolate... mmm. And golden caramel chocolate... and sweet, delicious marble chocolate... drool.gif

White Chocolate has no Chocolate in it.

As far as the Divine go...they are not omnipotent/omniscient, but they do likely travel through the spheres of probability...Estarra is more-or-less the original spirts of the universe after spending an aeon in Achaea...and Kethuru corrupted Astral space to become the Western Astrological Zodiac on Earth.

It's pretty much the same as naming a denizen after Wikipedia but asking guides to hunt down any OOC association in names. In other words, divine can do whatever they want, it doesn't mean you can or should though.

White Chocolate has no Chocolate in it.

eh?

White Chocolate is made from Cocoa beans just the same as any other kind of Chocolate...? Isn't it?

Unknown2006-03-17 18:21:46
Ah, okay...

White Chocoloate is made from Cocoa Butter but not the Cocoa Solids. Because of this and the different taste, many countries, including the FDA of the US, don't consider it to be "chocolate" and it has its own category.

So, while it is technically not "chocolate", it's also unlikely to exist in Lusternia...at least until we find the jungles where those tigers came from.

QUOTE
Descended from the Elder God Tae, the tae'dae are bear-like humanoids.
They are an extremely large people, though their size is more in their
breadth rather than their height, which likewise makes them as slow as
they are powerful. Indeed, they are the innately strongest of all the
mortal races. They seem to have no natural affinity to any specific
environment, being found in arctic regions (the white furred tae'dae,
often with blue tongues) to more temperate zones (brown or black fur) to
some jungle regions (where their fur is curiously patterned in black and
white).
They are extremely affable, proud and charismatic, and most have
an inborn desire to protect the furrikin, who are often inexplicably
referred to as their "little brothers and little sisters" (and it is true
some furrikin look like miniature tae'dae). Though notoriously known for
being of small intellect, the typical tae'dae believes just the opposite,
considering him or herself to be uncommonly wise.

Umm...that would imply we have jungles. Oversight?

Not if the jungles have yet to be discovered.
Daganev2006-03-17 22:58:45
I was going to say that Jungles clearly exist outside the basin, but nobody seems to have a means or desire to go outside the basin or search for things that exist out there.
