I knew this once, but how do you get out of gravedigger's pits?
ferlas2006-03-15 23:12:08
You kill the gravedigger then the walls fall down and you can climb up or climb down, do not climb down unless your ready to fight a lot of them though.

The few times I fell into the pit, I would get up Serpent immediately then teleport back to the nexus.
Richter2006-03-15 23:18:49
Kill the things, then go up. There's a queen and two more if you go down.

Almost died to one today. Thanks to a strongfavour from Terentia, giving me a nice shiny staff, and int blessing, I killed it right before dying.
Laysus2006-03-16 03:31:05
Psh, diggers're easy tongue.gif
Forren2006-03-16 03:33:01
Not if you weren't expecting it, and you have to type in "apply health to head" every so often biggrin.gif

DOn't be stupid and do anything bit sip during their blackout period. wink.gif

Thats how I survive gravediggers. You'd ahve been fine if you staff/reflect/reflect/reflect/staff/...
Sylphas2006-03-16 08:17:40
I can shield faster than they can hit me. smile.gif

You can reflect faster than the thing can hit you. So do that. They are terribly easy to kill if you keep your head.

not to mention that drinking allheale cures blackout
Acrune2006-03-16 14:34:39
Mage should just reflect during their blackout if they think they're in danger. Reflections are the best thing mages have for hunting, I can't stress that enough.

Don't even worry about the blackout. Just reflect and wait. Or carry on blasting with your staff. Not like the blackout does you any harm.

guess i will need to start making my patrols to route out the gravediggers again. GUILDS KEEP YOUR NEWBS OUT OF THERE!
Unknown2006-03-27 11:29:58
Why would you apply health to head?
Daganev2006-03-27 19:00:11
probabbly because merian blackout causes blindnesss as well.
Niara2006-04-04 08:44:03
I also recommend creating a trigger that switches your current target immediatedly to gravedigger once it grabs you and pulls you down. Also highlight it of course. It might safe you precious seconds.

Aesyra and I had a running bet whether diggers or rats killed more people... I think the diggers are winning
Unknown2006-04-04 14:00:10
What -are- gravediggers anyway?

And from what I've heard there uber compared to rats?
Acrune2006-04-04 16:25:22
They live in the blasted lands. In rooms with a mound in them (I think) they pull you into the ground, and all exit seal off. They then proceed to beat the crap out of the unlucky (usually) novice. They do about 500 damage or something like that, kinda fast, I think. Been a while since I've looked for one.
