The first Celestial Dance Contest came to a close and here are the winners for Worst Dancer and Best Pair. This is not all the dances that occured but only the ones that I logged using Nexus. Shaeden has the winners for Best Dancer.

WORST DANCER IN CELEST- Tekora

Aqua Adept Tekora Freewind starts with his head bowed, wings folded about him, then spreads his wings and arms out, looking into the air as he lifts himself about 6 feet above the ground. Then, suddenly, he breaks into a spasmodic boogie that would make the most clumsy orc look graceful.

Aqua Adept Tekora Freewind continuing his 'dance', wiggles them cheeks like there's no tomorrow, and with a wink and a stupidly wide grin to the lady members of the audience, backflips in the air and lands on the ground with a thump... headfirst.

Aqua Adept Tekora Freewind still under the influence of alcohol, doesn't feel the pain and stands up, oblivious to the blood trickling down his forehead. He then begins to spin on his heel, but again, under the influence of alcohol, shortly topples over.

Aqua Adept Tekora Freewind not missing a beat, bounds back to his feet and struts about the area with an air of blind confidence. With a final spin, a hand raised to the sky, and another wink to the lady-folk of the audience, the 'dance' ends.



BEST PAIR DANCERS IN CELEST- Forren and Malicia

Forren, Mage of the Light bows to the audience politely before turning, smile beginning to show on his face as he bows elegantly to Malicia. In a dashing manner he walks around Malicia, his hands on her shoulders before gently reaching for her hands.

Dame Malicia La'Saet, Disciple of the Aegis smiles faintly as she takes Forren's hand in hers, grasping it tightly and nodding at him before turning to look to face the audience. She gracefully curtsies, lowing her head for a moment as the tinkling sound of music begins.

Forren, Mage of the Light pulls Malicia's hand to his lips and kisses it tenderly before tilting his head back, elegantly walking in the direction of their outstretched arms as the full notes begin to play.

Dame Malicia La'Saet, Disciple of the Aegis follows her partner's lead as she lightly dances forward, her feet barely touching the ground as she moves, leaning back into his arms as one of them fall to her waist, guiding her to him. The soft music seems to pick up a little, following their tempo.

Forren, Mage of the Light continues for a short time before he leads Malicia back towards the audience, letting her droop in his arms delicately before picking her back up. He gives her a gentle kiss on the cheek before turning back, bowing.

Dame Malicia La'Saet, Disciple of the Aegis slips her arms around Forren's neck after he pulls her into a standing position, her head tilted upwards. She slides her arms down, trailing her hand along one of his arms and to his hand again, spinning completely around before twisting her way back into his arms, her eyes never leaving his. She slowly looks away and bows to the audience as well.

Eradriot Shaeden, The Intrepid Monk of Japhiel pops three more kafe beans into
his mouth. It takes a moment for the effect to hit him, but suddenly his whole
body perks up. He leaps into the air, preforming a front flip. The front flip is
nearly out of control, and he is about to crash into the ground when he stops
and begin to flap his angelic wings to a hover. He then begins to spin around,
counterclockwise evoking like a top, pickup speed. He rapidly gains momentum and
starts to lif off the ground.

Eradriot Shaeden, The Intrepid Monk of Japhiel rising higher and higher Shaeden
become a mere speck in the sky. There is a momentary pause as the speck starts
to become bigger and bigger. With a realization of horror the crowd realizes he
is doing a head first dive into the ground! As he aproaches, you notice the look
on his face is one of utter deterimination. When only an inch from the ground,
shaeden pops up into a backwards ariel circle loop, as if he was trying to get
behind someone who was chasing him.

Eradriot Shaeden, The Intrepid Monk of Japhiel preforms three more graceful
loops in the air, and lands with a light thud, on one foot. He stamps the other
foor down hard and creates a decent "thump." Four beats later he stamps again,
then two, then each beat. His foot is going up and down like a maniac piston.
Then suddenly he begins to add his own precusion sound to the music, stamping
along and adding his own bit to the soundtrack. Finally the Kafe wears off, and
Shaeden's energy leave him, just as the song ends.
