This is going to work much differently from the original. I think the changes will be for the better. Here's how the game works.
How to Assassinate
EVERYONE is a target for this game; you aren't assigned specific targets to assassinate. To assassinate someone, you must post above and below their post. So, for example, if these posts occurred in the following order...
Shamarah: I think badgers are dumb.
Shiri: I think lightbulbs are dumb.
Shamarah: HAHA I PWNT JOO NOOB.
... I would have assassinated Shiri.
Every time you assassinate someone, you get points (see below for point values). If you get assassinated, you are not out. Obviously, being assassinated isn't a good thing, as it gives your competitors points, but other than that it has no adverse effects on you. Don't ask why, because I don't actually have a plausible answer.
Rules
1. There's no maximum number of players.
2. You must have 50+ posts and have been a member of the forum for at least 1 month to play.
3. All of your targets must have 50+ posts and have been a member of the forum for at least 1 month.
4. PM me anytime you assassinate someone.
5. Try to keep your assassination posts on-topic if possible so as not to derail the thread unnecessarily.
6. You cannot assassinate the same target more than once.
Scoring
Scoring is based primarily on the number of posts the person has (under the idea that if they post less often, it'll be harder to get them).
50-100 posts: 100 points
101-250 posts: 80 points
251-500 posts: 60 points
501-750 posts: 50 points
751-1000 posts: 40 points
1001-1500 posts: 30 points
1501-2000 posts: 20 points
2001-5000 posts: 15 points
5001-10000 posts: 10 points
Shiri: 5 points
Any Divine: +50 points
Please post in the thread if you want to play (it doesn't matter if people know you're playing because everyone's targetable anyway). The game will begin on Tuesday, March 28. Late sign-ups are accepted but you'll be at a disadvantage.
