I'd just love to have a dreamweaving ability that let you share your target's dreams. I mean.. dreamweavers would be queueing up to slumber Nymerya so they could see the one that makes her pee herself.

They also need a skill to give their target dreams.

I'd like to see the dreamweave ability allow you to place a dream in someone's head, but they don't see the dream untill they finally sleep... could be days later.

And, perhaps, load a delayed command into that dream.

The problem with having a dreamweaving ability like that at a low dream-weaving level is that you would have novices placing very out-of-character or explicit dreams into random people's heads. For example, a novice Geomancer passess Telum in the mountains and places a dream of the two of them humping. And because of the high content of younger people in Lusternia, that would lead to abuse of the skill and its inevitable deletion.

Though it would be interesting to see Daevos dreaming of getting killed by a novice aquamancer

Well, it wouldn't be that different than your average illusion, other than the fact that it would mean that only one person could see it, and while they were asleep. The solution to this would be to have to submit a dream text before being able to apply it to someone, however that may cause problems with o ye of the higher ups (a la overcrowded desk).

The other solution is to have dreams be things you "save" onto something like a dreamcatcher, which would mean using power for it. Or, instruct all those who are given a sexually explicit, or an otherwise explicit dream to submit the text of the dream and let the administration do the shrubbing.

It could be like the venegance-bomb situation in Imperian, in which a bunch of Stavennites died (for those of you that don't know, Venegance causes a lot of damage to anyone in the room if the person with Venegance dies) and killed everyone in the room during an official quiz. The admin nerfed the ability to use Venegance for all those who used it at that time.

Basically, if they misuse it they lose it. It should be the duty of the guild to instruct novices how not to be complete and total idiots.
