I can't believe they showed that during a football game...

Then again, everyone will always remember Janet Jackson's little wardrobe mishap.
Veonira2006-04-08 17:19:33

they probably didn't really...realize it until after

Aiakon2006-04-08 23:25:26

But then I guess you have to have some amusement in what really is one of the most boring games of all time. tongue.gif

If we ever needed more proof of the inferiority of the British (which we don't), this'd be it. The inability to enjoy the greatest game on Earth.

American football is running around in padded plastic giving each other hugs. You run for five minutes, stop for an ad break. If you MUST watch football, at least watch Rugby - shorts, boots, shirt and an hour and a half of running and knee-and-groin injuries if you're lucky.
Shiri2006-04-09 07:31:39
Heck, even Murphy plays rugby rather than American football. Greatest game? Pff. Cricket >>> American football, and I don't even like cricket. tongue.gif

I went to a football game last time I was in America. Texas Tech v. ? I was BORED RIGID. Thank God there was food. And if you tried to take a piss any time in the second half... all the toilets were stinking of vomit and filled with passed out students.

Lovely.

I prefer cricket.

Is that why the legal drinking age in England is 5? (18 for bars)

You can drink in English pubs pre-18.. aged 16 with food, in the company of a responsible adult.. or something. I don't remember.
Arix2006-04-09 20:47:23
Hurray for Rugby
Shiri2006-04-10 03:08:59
Something like that. I think I can go drink now, but someone else has to buy it...
Murphy2006-04-10 04:10:30
rugby & cricket > all.

Thats right the murph is a cricket fan too, used to play it a fair bit but i don't anymore cause all my gear started to decay due to its age, and my cricket bat was.....taken off me for inappropriate use (heartstop/lich to avoid authorities)
Simimi2006-04-10 04:42:22
FOOTBALL>rugby>cricket... bad Murphy
love-mimi

Yea...American Football is bollucks...so boring
Richter2006-04-10 06:39:45
I'll even admit American Football is boring. So is baseball, but to a lesser degree. I like soccer. happy.gif
