Wow, I'd probably die of shock if I got a bill like that. I was ready to kill my roomate last month when our gas bill hit over $200. I couldn't imagine that at all.

err...that seems impossible to me. But never say never

Well, it's in the news. Guess it's possible? (not to say that all news is 100% true, but this is across multiple news companies, and it has neither political nor religions connections to it)

How could someone rack up that much money through long-distance calls? They can't be -that- expensive...
Richter2006-04-10 23:00:56
I can see a few thousand a month, -maybe-.
But even at ten thousand a month, it would take 1,816,666,670 years to rack that up.

two very simple possibilities... one, when the number was disconnected it somehow got given a void variable and deleted, and in some way ALL the other phone bills got added to that one..
or B... somebody is selling that phonenumber as phonecards and making a deal with the phone company to charge $1 for every call, no matter how long the call is, + 0.20 a minute. And this phonenumber is now collecting the bill of the thousands of phonecalls being run by this illegal opperation. Especially if its going to 900 numbers.

Either that or he got duped into signing on for a $10000 a minute long distance plan, and he was calling a lot of family
