Ok, I'm new to Lusternia, though not to muding. I have "Caelas" and Elfen Serenguard novice.
I'm wondering how exactly certain rp things are done here. As in, I'd like to find him a family as a priority since I find it adds a lot to a charecter. Is it normal to do this oocly a little first? Or should I just leave it to chance in the game?
Anyway, if things are checked and talked about oocly, and you're looking for Elfen (And you're an Elfen family ) Grab me on AIM/MSN or here.

Not so sure on this, I made a seren novice and got asked to join a family not even 6 mins into te game hun. Just depends, but, people mostly will not want/accept/ask you into their family until you have...
1)proven yourself
2)proven your going to stay in lusty, and put time in
Or so I have been lef to believe.

Searching for a family is done OOCly sometimes. There's a "looking for kids" thread somewhere about here...I think it's in the marketplace for some reason. I don't know how successful you're likely to be using that though, I never hear anything come of it but then I guess I wouldn't.

I think I got Yrael from that thread *shrug* Or at least the idea.
Caelas2006-04-14 07:10:06
Ok. I'll see what happens I guess. At least I know what to expect, ish.
Thanks for the help/suggestions.

Different people handle it different ways. I'd actually recommend not going for a family as a priority, but just getting to know people first. Then later, find someone you like who could technically be your parent and ask them, IC or OOC, about it.

Ok, guy who started this thread, this is for you, it's what I say in all the 'I'm new' threads:
The following list contains all you need to know about Lusternia:
1. Don't snuggle Arix.
2. Don't judge people based on what city or commune they are from.
3. Trader Bob is the spawn of Kethuru and you should get your potions from other people.
4. Scholars and pilgrims are a reliable source of income and karma, as are the supplicants, if you choose Celest.
5. Don't poke Arix.
6.Don't poke Munsia, or refer to her as a cow, unless you have a deathwish, or can run really fast.
7.Verithrax is a reliable sources of clothing, greatrobes, and mostly intelligent conversation.
8.Don't bother Arix, unless you are starving, you need booze, or you know a dirty joke, limerick, or haiku that I haven't heard yet.
9.Trill kick ass. And now we can PREEN
10.Fluffy kittens are evil. Evil, I tells ya.

Serenwilde? You'll have a hard time not ending up in ten or twelve families.
Arix2006-04-15 06:54:49

Woot trill! Also, never refer to them (and by them I mean Tervic) as "birdie" or "birdman" unless you wish to have your head pounded into your ribcage, once he actually figures out how to do that reliably....
Asarnil2006-04-20 18:46:41
But Tervic is definitely happy to be referred to as "Tweety" and "Canary Man" and being asked if "Polly wanna cracker?"

Mmm, no I think that'd probably result in some atavistic violence as well.
