Hallifax and Gaudiguch!

For my continuing sanity as a Trill wacko.gif , we need Hallifax. Gaudiguch would be cool too (but it would be Tainted). There could be Pyromancers (I think someone mentioned this on the Forums before) and Aeromancers (They were already mentioned in either the Trill or Lucidian helpfiles)

This would have to include the return of the Fire and Air planes, as well as the Vortex and Continuum cosmic planes.

If this is gonna happen, then there should also be some kind of convert system for old players who want to join either city. They could smoothly transfer over, and be exactly the same rank in Aeromancy/Pyromancy as they used to be in Aquamancy/Geomancy. The same with the skills for the new Guardian and Warrior guilds.

So who's with me?
Xenthos2006-04-14 14:11:52
No, but thank you for the invitation.
Shamarah2006-04-14 14:13:24
There've been, like, hundreds of threads about this. The Divine answer: They're not coming until we have a bigger playerbase.
Vix2006-04-14 14:17:22
Sorry to burst your bubble but yeah, we aren't going to have the two for at least years. And I highly doubt Gaudiguch would be tainted anyways. They disappeared before the were tainted.

- EMOTE heaves a sigh that can be heard from the other end of Aetherspace, and proceeds to wipe his defences and dive into Astral.

yeah, odds are Hallifax is the places that's Tainted...
Hazar2006-04-14 16:01:30
Uh-oh. I know this is a stretch, but...

ODDS ARE NEITHER'S TAINTED!
Penelope2006-04-14 16:43:08
Well, considering Gaudiguch and Hallifax were opposed to one another in the histories I doubt either one will be tainted. They'll just pick up where they left off.

OK, so maybe Gaudiguch isn't tainted, I just thought ... y'know....

Burn! BURN I say! Muahahahahaha! pureevil.gif

Not exactly the kind of thing that would be "good".

AND THERE IS NO WAY HALLIFAX WOULD BE TAINTED!

I mean look how happy this guy is! How could he be corrupt up in the air. It's just wrong!

But you're probaly right, neither are tainted.

Ok, this thread was unneccesary , like all the other "Gaudiguch...blah...Hallifax...blah" threads.

I doubt you can complain. I'm a dracnari IC. There are only like 5 dracnari in the basin who aren't newbs.

But I do think that when either of them comes out the 50 first people have 0 lesson loss, when joining, But thats only if they join thier counter-parts like Druid/Mage goes to the Pyromancers etc...
Richter2006-04-14 17:58:45
Far too many of these threads over the last year or so. My answer remains, invite your friends to play, perhaps we'll have a playerbase that can sustain six organizations. For reference, Aetolia has been around for, what, four years? They only have four orgs, like we do.
Unknown2006-04-14 18:09:17
Right Richter. exactly..
Aiakon2006-04-14 18:16:08
Neither will be -tainted- as such. Who knows how Hallifax will turn out... probably even more straight-laced than Celest.. though no doubt the Trill will temper things. Gaudiguch will almost certainly be neutral. Remember that the Illuminati were no stranger to physical transformations... once they find that the Taint could be useful, and contains no active Kethuru anymore, I'd expect them to take a fairly pragmatic Raezon-esque approach. It can't hurt, it could be useful.. I'll use... rather than the moral highground. They wouldn't want the basin tainted.. like certain Geomancers of my acquaintance.. but they aren't going to want to utterly destroy taint - to do so would be foolishness from a morally-ambivalent, intellectually-interested perspective.

Ugh, another thread. Kill it! twitch.gif

You know what irritates the snot out of me? There's a group of people in Lusternia who says that once the cities return, the governments will just hand over leadership to them, since they've been gone so long.

Few times have I seen such a case of supreme egotistical delusions of grandeur.

Wow. I didn't realize it had gotten so bad. wacko.gif
Shiri2006-04-14 23:31:10
Wait, wait. They actually admit to thinking that way? They SAY it?
Verithrax2006-04-15 00:45:13
As far as I know nobody in the Tirita admits to it in-character. Actually most of what goes on in the Tirita consists in trying to figure out ways to estabilish a dialogue with the people of the city.
Hazar2006-04-15 00:47:59
I wouldn't be surprised if that bumbling 'Dragonspawn' fool in Magnagora does. He makes me sick.
Unknown2006-04-15 01:03:11
Wait, that dragonspawn dude is Magnagoran? That's what I get for not checking people's loyalties on the website.
