That's kinda scary that a parent would pull a gun like that, even if the kid was being a twit...

But how about the story of the old grandma who took a 12-gague to her Mac classic because the salesperson told her it was "indestructible"?

You know, a 22 year old son, living at home, playing games and not doing the laundry.. sounds like the son was addicted to games, and is accusing his father of trying to kill him so he can settle on some money, and play more games and not have to work... but thats just me, cause I was 22 and living at home once, and...

I'm 20, living at home, and addicted to video games.

I'm 25, living at home, and I'm engaged to a girl who is 24 living with her parents... We had lots of fun with the failure to launch movie...

And I can completely understand how a parent can get gun shooting mad at a child who does nothing but play games all day.

In our defense though, houses cost $800,000 around here, and just 4 years ago they cost $500,000.

whats really curious to me, is if the gun hit the monitor, and the monitor was 3 feet away from the son, then where exactly was the son?

Yes, while in close range, 3 feet is a far distance. Just like for an ant, 5 feet is a long distance, but for an elephant , 5 miles is a long distance.

If I'm shooting a gun in a room that lets say is 20 feet X 20 feet, missing by 3 feet is almost as if I was facing the wrong direction. The shorter the distance, the less the angle of error will be seen. Its basic Trig.
