I'm curious. Who played, what server type, what class, etc?
(I'm curious because I dug out an old pvp video of mine that was hiding in my "FilM" folder, between lesbians and a cow being fed through a giant blender)

I don't play WoW much... but I have a few characters. All on EU servers:
Tauren Hunter, Moonglade
Troll Rogue, Venture Co
and I HAD a Dwarven Priest on Argent Dawn. Pre-patch, so he was boring before I specced him into shadow.
Iridiel, is your character's name Aribel per chance? If so, my brother's in your raiding group.

I tried the demo, and just couldn't keep playing it.

Same. My 10 day trial expired and I went, "Oh well," and that was that. I had alliance characters on Boulderfish (PvP) and Emerald Dream (RP PvP), and horde on Maelstrom (RP PvP), two on each server levels 15-20.
Saran2006-04-26 19:32:14
I had one of each druid characters, a shaman, possibly a mage, a warlock and a hunter.
I had friends who played at a net cafe so yeah...
I'll play if I have a computer that can actually handle the game and my account is active, but most of my characters are level 10ish though my tauren shaman is near 15 i think and my druid is over 20 (I only remember because he has the cat form)
I did like playing as a druid, the forms could be fun but in the end I just spent all my time in bear form... or swimming around randomly in the sea form

US Gilneas PvE server:
60 night elf druid, Lleld. I'm class leader for my raiding guild, After Dark. Druids are pretty awful until you're level 20 and get cat form. Level 30 is even better with travel form.
Nearly 60 undead priest, Marillier. She's my pvp alt, aiming to get her to rank 14 with pvp.
I've tried RPPvP and PvP servers but I have too many friends on Gilneas to leave.
Edit: My guild's site: http://www.afterdark-gilneas.com

That reminds me. I didn't state what I was. *cough*
60 warlock, gnome (Gnome=pwn, blah blah) pvp server, sm/ds build, all blues, no epics, blah-blah-blah. And rogues are utter jokes. If you give me a bit, I'll find a host for that video and mail you the link.

Rogues are not jokes, you just haven't come up against any really good ones.
I'm 53, all blue items and I haven't lost to a lock in forever. Even the good locks go down hard if I get a good jump on them.
EDIT: Oh yeh i'm a subtelty/assassination build, use thrash blade in main hand/dagger in offhand, and i've got a nasty ass stunlock when i time it right.

Rogues cheat. =| But warlocks cheat more with their fear/death coil + 400 damage Corruption ticks.
I usually play on Frostwolf (PvP) as a 60 human mage, though I play other caster classes too. Mostly Arcanist/Magister's gear, at least until I have time to go raid BWL with the guild.
What server do you play on, Yrael?
Murphy2006-04-27 06:23:55
a good rogue doesn't let a lock out of stunlock in time to let a dearcoil off, sometimes you miss crucial moves in which case a coil goes off and he pops afflictions on you, however you should be able to use sprint or just run (providing you get crippling poison off, which you should always get one off if you go the cheap shot, sinister gouge evis combo) to keep on the lock and stop him from letting a fear rip.

Warlocks at 60 become horribly to kill, specially since they get geared up in epic stuff in no time, at least in european servers.
I am not into PvP though, and I am a frostmage, so it's not like I kill many people either

What server do you play on, Yrael?
Dark Iron. I quit a few weeks ago (Notice the PLAYED), waiting on the expansion. I'm the only SM/DS warlock on the server, I'm a gnome, and I wear the pimp hat, so EVERYONE knew who I was. ^^. Although try playing with blue gear from 1.6 onwards - it was an experience. No talent revamps, no deathcoil, no fear re-working. That's why I'm jesus on wheels, you see.
*makes the old man sound*
I'd post the link to a flick to show that Rogues ARE jokes, but the nasty dirty ugly face thing just told me when I got home from work that it was a flaming homosexual, labor-voter, and that I had to upgrade my account to upload more than 10mb.
Uhm.
DPS classes are a joke, stunlock or no, Murphy - the only rogue on my server who did enough damage WITH stunlock was doing something like 1k-1500 a hit, and I only had 5k health. Even before Deathcoil was fixed (so it wasn't just a 10 minute cooldown, instant but slightly substandard shadowbolt) grenades did pretty much the same job, just aim a regular iron one infront of you and run forward, then rip out a fear. So, uhm, yes. It wasn't pleasant, but we were fairly evenly matched. Warlocks and Shadowpriests and Druids, oh my. Hate hate hate. Warlocks because it's like fighting myself without the regeneration and with a pet, shadowpriests because they ARE me, and Druids because I can lifetap my mana back and they just heal themselves constantly. But yes, most rogues, stunning or not, just can't do enough damage to me with regen , even though I'm wearing magic toilet paper, to drop me.
Uhm. Anyway - 400 corruption is impossible, even with a sacrificed succubus - mine ticked for a bit over 150, curse of agony at it's height would do 220 (amped) and siphon life was sucking down an easy 57 a tick. Shadowbolts did anywhere from 600-800 regular, highest crit was something like 2k before the Curse of Shadows nerf (10% instead of vuln. bonuses). Forgotten immolate, although it was something like 350 dd, 100-something a tick.
Oh, and regenerated for about 150 every 4 seconds, too, so that was fun.
Enough ranting. I did so love my pimp hat.
And my lifeforce dirk with 30 spelldamage, which was voted as the stupidest object on the server. 400g enchant (+mats) on a level 50 blue item?
Murphy2006-04-27 10:58:07
I have my rogue shirtless, and dressed up like a little BDSM dude, witht he full on gimp mask and leather armour vest.
Gnomes are the pimp though.
Seriously a rogue with cold blood and prep goes like this.
CS SS gouge, then cold blood and evis (cold blood guartees it being a crit) At level 53 i'm hitting crits for 1500. Then you vanish and rinse/repeat that's at least 3k so far with all the autoattack and sinister strike, then you blind (10 seconds of gouge) and bandage any damage taken (which should be 0) then yo're out of combat, all timers on CS should be reset and you can get back into stealth for another round, you then hit your preparation to reset your cooldowns and you can cold blood evis again for 1500+ damage, and then hit vanish and go for another cheap shot evis combo, then you blind them after the evis and go them another round.
If you use all your cooldowns you can nail pretty much anyone, although after the first 2-3 rounds they should be pretty much screwed.
It all depends on the skill of the rogue and its also pretty heavy based around crit, so some fight you'll get lucky and crit on every evis, and others you'll get nothing.

I played a level 60 mage no a rp server got kinda frustrated that the class kept getting all its good points removed or that other classes seemed all round better in loads of different areas. Then I played a paladin up to level 60 when the new rppvp servers came out and it was just great all the way though, the class was like great and really fun until I joined a guild at level 60, the big dungeon in stranglethorn vale was fun and interesting but then we started to do molten core and it got like so dull you could have automated all your actions if you really wanted. Then they added in the paladin patch which changed nothing other than it just ment I had to spend like a ton of gold to buff people up so I just quit, tried to get back into achaea found it just plain nasty with the new class thingy so I tried lusty again.

Mages have been nerfed into annihilation - you need to burn so many consumables to win any fight if you're not a Grand Marshall/Epicced out/Both it isn't funny. Paladins were boring in the first place, even if they were bastard-tanks.
I <3 pvp, tho. Such as taking over Blackrock mountain and bringing along the supplies to defeat anything short of a raid.
Except that time a bunch of people were doing UBRS, and I managed to release the doomguard I was using and summon an infernal, killing 15 people since they were so damn distracted. Or the time a party of five rogue farmers doing DM:East tried to jump me and an infernal soloed them all. Which is hilarious, considering how utterly terrible warlock endgame pets are. >_> Or, or, or, my fanclub in Orgrimmar, where I could hide in a tower or the Cleft of Shadow. Since our guild used various chnnales to communicate instead of guildchat, I could still talk to them, so I started a guild called "warlock trainer" and imitated NPCs. That was funny. Because they'd attack me and I'd one-hit the little warlock novices with my dagger.
I do not <3 raiding. Or honor grinding. The few times I've done molten core, it turned into an eight hour long grind - there were even portions of it where I slapped someone on autofollow and took a few brief naps. I have no loot from there, either. All my stuff is from Scholomance, Stratholme, quests, or the easiest "hard" pvp rank to get, Knight-Lieutenant. And with 5k health, 160 odd extra shadow damage, 4400 mana, I'd say that's pretty frigging good for blue items. Oh, I do have a purple. It's something I bought at around level 35.
I do want the new items they're releasing from tier0 sets, tho. I think I'll go re-activate my account, actually. Stuff the expansion.
I must also stop making overly-long posts, and re-activate my account right now, and make a new video. I'll post the link to the old one, tho, so that Murphy may observe his folly in making a rogue and repent (bible voice here), in the morning. When the damn thing finishes uploading.

I thought paladins were pretty fun though I got to be tanky and heal my friends, your just kind of like a rock in a fight, people attack you and your friends kill them while you sit there waving or people ignore you try to sheep or sap or snare you and you break it and keep your friends alive and your friends kill them anyway.
