Another harsh word and more to come
Cruelty, enmity, blatant hate
Unknowingly, something I must have done
To such a rift between us create

I have tried to reconcile
Yet stubbornly you toss aside
Every kind action and all the while
Any fault of yours, you have denied

As one so close, you know my fears
Yet with that knowledge you seek to maim
Not caring that you are the source of my tears
No thought to naught but your own gain

Your viciousness, heartlessness stains my soul
As conflicting emotions your deeds awake
Bitterness longs to my feelings control
Yet love for you it will not take

And so, tormented, I ask you this:
Is the hurt, the grief you cause worthwhile?
My suffering, you must surely miss
For still you look at me and smile

That's a very nice poem. I had to reread some of it, but that's ok. Still very nice, you pulled the emotion to the surface, i hope that's what you wanted.
