Ok how do smudges work? I tried one the swamp smudge thats supposed to make it so your victems can't move is that only while the smudge is lit? or is it a affliction they are supposed to get?

Okay, it's like that:
First, you make a smudge.
Then, if you want it to start working, you light it, which drops it automatically.
Then, after like 5 seconds or so, all personal enemies in the room are hit.
And swamp isn't good. Try out forest or desert. Forest did about 1700 to me when I was still a Muggie. Plus the annoying burn.

Second question. Does the environment change depending on the full type or partial type? Because if it changes on full type, it really sucks in Glomdoring.

Smudges do not change terrain type in any way, shape, or form.

Okay, don't mind me rearranging my understanding of the entire Ecology skillset.
