I wanted to organise a compendium of all the little letters that come after your h/m/e/w/e/p numbers in the prompt. Here is what I have so far.

e = equilibrium
x = balance
d = deaf
b = blind
k = on Kafe
p = prone
s = substratus open (Psionics)
S = Superstratus open (Psionics)
i = ID open (Psionics)
<> = Gem of Cloaking
@ = Phased
l = Left Armbalance
r = Right armbalance

I know there are plenty I've missed out, so add more in the thread, and I'll add them to this post.

EDIT: Hmewep. Interesting.

HELP PROMPT, Ytraelux.

I know that.

I meant the specialised ones. Non-Psionicists don't have sSi. I just threw the standards in extra.
Verithrax2006-05-07 17:51:33
Only psionicists have specialized prompts. They should be in a help file somewhere, probably in AB PSIONICS SOMETHING.
Unknown2006-05-07 18:22:38
There isn't an AB file on it.

And I didn't know it was only us Psis that had specialised prompts. Thank for telling me.

Isn't there an @ for dreamweaving? I could swear I saw it in some log.
Verithrax2006-05-07 18:34:50
Ah, forgot about that. It means 'in dreambody'.
Unknown2006-05-07 20:35:37
warriors are the only ones who use the 'l' and 'r' for arm balances.
Unknown2006-05-07 21:02:25
People who are stealthed by a gem of cloaking will see <> added to their prompt as a suffix.

The @ means phased.

Shield stun uses it

Anyone can turn armbalance display on, just doesn't mean a lot to non-warriors.
Unknown2006-05-08 05:53:11
I said no one uses it, not that they couldn't turn it on.
Ekard2006-05-08 08:16:04
Actually letter 'p' means much more, its also webed, entangeld, paralysed and most likely few more.

All used to describe prone, Ek. tongue.gif
If an ability needs someone prone, web them and they are.

No no.

When you are prone you will get p in prompt.

When you are paralysed you will get p too, same when you are webed.

And when you are prone, webed and paralysed you will still see only 'p' in a prompt.

And im not sure but when you are trasfixed you will see 'p' also.
ferlas2006-05-08 11:01:04
Ah but what he means is that webbing paralysis etc are all considered things that put you prone.

Your both right your just both looking at it weirdly
Ekard2006-05-08 11:12:06
Yea.
But.
paralyse!=prone
webed!=prone

You still can parry when paralysed or webed. but you cant when prone.
Xavius2006-05-08 18:55:26
Nonono, those are all "prone." Webbed, paralyzed, transfixed, sprawled, et al. all count as "prone."
ferlas2006-05-08 18:57:13
Hmm seems there are two kinds of prone though.

One kind of prone you can parry with and one kind of prone you cant.
