Death on prime in general, is a pain. There are ways to avoid it I know this ,but not many. For instance the astral plane which holds stronger creatures to bash than most prime areas, you might as well be jumped by a team of three. I am going to move on to the ponit, 7 prime suspects is way to high , that is just an exsuse to go in team jumping, killing anyone who may or may not want to fight and it's normally someone who isn't fully adept in combat who can't get away, more or less with three people, it's hard to get away without a cubix of some such.
I hope to have suspects lowed to about 3-5 at most , it reduces the amount of prime deaths and increases killing off plane. I also realize the game is about combat , I am not discourging it in anyway , just trying to reduce unncesscary deaths.

I'm not sure what you're saying, but I dissagree if you are suggesting the cap before peace gets lowered... If you are afraid to die don't provoke people to kill you, and if people kill you unprovoked, issue them/get someone big to kill them in retribution. Pk is already getting choked out.. Quiet now

We are spoiled, nuff said.
Dysolis2006-05-12 05:11:11
that's not how it is, people will jump anyone for no reasson at all. and they can do it seven times.
Murphy2006-05-12 06:36:55
This 'notion' that we are spoiled is absolutley rediculous.

I'd like to mention that THIS IS NOT BLOODY ACHAEA OR ANY OTHER IRE GAME

This is lusternia, deal with it. If you love achaea so much go play IT instead of bitching here about it.
ferlas2006-05-12 08:56:28
We are spoiled murphy because roleplay and pk here is so much better than achaea, its happens more frequently and it is much more balanced even with artifacts biggrin.gif

Although what I do think everyone forgets is that in achaea you can effectivly never ever ever ever die to a pk death the whole time you play if you don't want to, here you can be a novice in your guild and still get pked if someone takes a slight dislike to you.
silimaur2006-05-12 09:42:26
id like to point out the any death dysolis suffered is very very likely deserved anyway, if you dont want to be jumped stop killing members of celest and provoking us into revenge

There may be little reason, or reasons you don't agree with, but hardly anyone gets jumped for 'no reason at all'.

The only times I've ever been jumped were when someone wanted to get back at me for fighting against them in some way, most likely on the Ethereal.

Now I can disagree with that IC, arguing that they were the aggressors, but in all seriousness, I balked them in some way, and took the initiative to do so, or to help my friends kill them, or stop them from their objective. After doing something like that It's pretty clear that they will try to get back at you at least once or twice in the near future.

And while yes, technically a person could kill seven random people not affiliated with their nation, each once, and not get vengeance, they can't kill one person seven times. They would also make seven enemies, maybe more as those people have guild champions who have a duty to protect them. Also a person who would foolishly do that would also give up there chance for a really worthy kill, someone who they needed to get back at and thus don't mind that they'll get suspect for it.

Unless there is some secret person out there, who kills seven people once every real life month for no reason and is inactive the rest of the time, I'm really not seeing how your argument is valid.

Ugh. Prime death happens. Deal with it. The game would suck if prime was all peaceful. To many people complain already. I got jumped by kurt once for no reason, other then it was in his RP and I was a Glom enemy. It happens. Deal with it. Don't want to lose so much when you pray? Stay around level 60.
Murphy2006-05-12 11:59:04
the biggest problem is group ganking and inquisition for the -sole- purpose of making them pray, not to kill them or any other RP reason other than you have the OOC knowledge that people lose much more experience when they pray.

Rediculous.
Acrune2006-05-12 13:11:56
Um.... no. I never get jumped on prime, you must be doing something wrong tongue.gif

And Inquisition is getting fixed to not strip vitae and I only know of two people in the game who have more than once anyway locked people and left mobs to kill them then tried to kill them again after the vitae has kicked in to make them pray. So hopefully most people can avoid that kind of attitude in the game.

quick question, what is with Raizan summoning Magnagorans into Celest? Doesn't that break like 3 Precepts?

That also breaks game rules, unless they were raiding a village.

I thought that too first, but then there where others that have been doing the same in other cities, it seems the no summoning from prime neutral to prime enemy territory was just an accord between players. That or a lot of people are breaking a policy (which by the way should then also be published clearly, we have to many rules we should just know because it's common sense).

erm no, we have always summoned people from Celestia to celestia pool. Aslong as they die it's not against the covenant.
Shamarah2006-05-12 19:31:42
Summoning people into enemy territory on prime is illegal and is an issuable offense.

Since you like to bring up inquisition, when it was never mentioned here, I'm going to bring up Lich. I think its unfair you get +2 for stats during the night time. I mean, come on, that totally ruins the game balance during the night time. I have to hide in Celest during the night because of your +2 stats.

Ridiculous!

First of all, 7 prime suspects have nothing to do with praying many times. You will die once, and no more for 30 days unless you do something stupid, like attack your bully or karma curse them. You are saying that your not trying to discourage combat, just trying to reduce 'unnecessary' deaths. If you died on prime, yes, it was necessary.

1) Your an enemy of Celest.
2) Your an enemy of Celestines.
3) Your an enemy of Terentia.

I automatically kill anyone from #2 and #3 simply because those who become enemied to those deserve deaths. If you want to live a peaceful life, stop being a hypocrite and stop your raiding.

Most of all, get a life stop being spoiled. Praying is what happens when you die.

Didn't the Celestines used to automatically enemy all enemies of Celest? I'm guessing they don't do that any more?
