I was told that because Glomdoring had a higher overall culture total Glomdoring gets the literary winner bonus when there's a tie? Does that have any truth at all?...seems kind of off

That is odd... you should probabbly ISSUE or BUG that you won the literary contest but are not getting the points for it.
Valarien2006-05-22 18:16:18
Well, in actual literary standing (No bonuses for fastest growing, Literary totals, etc.) We're in second place to Serenwilde, so yes, we do have an overall score that's higher.

So, if that's the case that determines who gets the points in a tie, then yeah, that's right.

Though....

Seems like it'd be better just to give both people the points dunno.gif

Not that I'm complaining, of course.

Since the results of the prestige contest are based solely on the books entered, I would say yes you should be getting those points.
