Can we make them optionally automatically bonded when they are transfered to a character? Most orgs ask that people not sell the credits they buy in org sales, though this is not always upheld. Now that we have bonded credits, could we have:
Soandso has transfered 10 bonded credits to Soandso2.
Tzekelkan2006-05-22 18:52:17
That would be a good idea.
Daganev2006-05-22 19:04:28
How would that work exactly, some times they don't want you reselling the credits during the sale, but later you can sell them if you need gold for equipment and the like.
Verithrax2006-05-22 20:29:50
Since this would mean no bonus lessons for credits from org sales, I'm going to have to say no.
Unknown2006-05-23 01:26:17
Make the credits bound and give the lessons automatically if the character has any additional bonuses to spare?
Murphy2006-05-23 03:12:34
just leave them as they are, really they are fine.

I dislike this idea, all it does is take away lessons from lowbies who bind their credits.
Daganev2006-05-23 15:52:25
Huh? I don't understand this comment about taking a way lessons... If you get bound credits you get bonus lessons with them binding...
I just don't like the lack of flexibility.

I also dont like this idea.
There is nowhere said that Org credits SHOULD be sold to guild members/citizens.
Yea everyone is doing it but its nothing hard coded for that. Even cities/guilds may want to sell credits on market. Or use them to buy arties for some guild leaders.
And even if your guildmates will sell them for gold, most likely they need that gold for equipment or imporve their buisness and what would lead to earn more gold, more credits and improving theirs skills in general.
Only issue would be transfering org credits to alts, but is illegal and people catched on it would be shrubed.
I only would like to see some things that would prevent guild/city/commune leaders to run with all org credits.
I guess we have to trust our leaders.

Ahem. I did say "Optionally".
Richter2006-05-23 20:04:47
Reselling org credits violates org rules, not game rules. Don't change it.
You know, I think every time I bought org credits, I sold them for double.

Stop being a hypocrite Folken, listen to the advice of your own avatar.
Unknown2006-05-23 23:29:56
Well, I created my own topic for small unimportant ideas, but I found that when I posted a new idea people liked to start bashing on the old ones and get completely off track.
I am saying optionally, so if a particular org wishes to enforce zero resale, it can.
And my avatar only applies to everyone else.

There's nothing to say that Org Credits have to be sold, anywhere, nowadays it's just expected. I honestly think some of them should pay the Leaders. God knows they have a hard job and deserve some salary.

Some people have done that.. the gods don't like it.
i.e. they use it against you at a later date.

I implemented this system for Serenguard, I think it's a nice gesture for the guild leaders, 5 credits a game year. On the other hand, Glomdoring's leaders got over 100 credits while in office. Talk about incentives to stay in office...

Sort of Ironic, as that was the original intention of Org Credits, unless I am mistaken...

It's up to an org to decide what to do with its credits. If the members are marking them up and selling them to buy weapons, armor, herbs, ect. it's really no loss as those are as much a benefit to them as lessons are. Can't really go wrong with credit sales, though it's a bit annoying if someone who's already rich buys them up to finance a manse or something.
