Not totally, someone else can save you from it . I remember Diamante actually saving Laneth from a Hexlock when he was wandering about Faethorn and was attacked by Ethelon.

Allhex was already extremely powerful, especially after the changes to Vapors. Making it masks every single hexes, including the two that can affliction-lock someone (Anorexia/Asthma) is just overkill.

By the way, each time I see a hexer in action I feel like an idiot for giving up Hexes and switching to Serenguard.

What I dislike most is that allhexe works with hexaura too.

when you see an allhex, you should assume they attempted to lock you, and cure those things. What other 6 afflictions would someone try to allhex you with?


also, what happened to diamante from the telepathy?

You know that once allhexe hits you, you are automatically afflicted with all of the afflicts at the same time, so you are immediately locked and can't cure it without focus mind?
And you didn't see the hexes following him, so that's a mootpoint too.

If you can't cure it, its a good time to ghost/hearstop and liche then.

And Envoys really need to suggest reducing the amount of lessons needed for focus mind.

It should be at master or something.

You can't ghost since you are paralysed when you are allhexed, and Guido doesn't have Lich I guess. So really, you need a near transcendent/transcendent skill to get out of a hexlock.

hmm...I know Syphon is stopped by blindness. Not sure about the rest though.

Siphon goes through just about everything, but wouldn't have been quick enough there.

The only real use of allhex I have seen was when I have hexaura up and I am going against a bad curer. For a shadowdancer allhex is larger worthless, as we cannot just then cast the aeon that a moondancer does in order to perpetuate the slower curing. There is no fighter in the realms who can't cure my allhex before I regenerate the three power it takes to drop choke, and really, if allhex alone is enough to take someone out who has focus mind, that person is REALLY failing it at life
