Hello everyone.
As some seem offended by Reyn's behaviour I just wished to assure that the these "insults" begin and end on an entirely IC level. Reyn is very impatient with outsiders, he is more likely to demand than try to convince someone to leave Magnagora's territory and so on. This is just how I play him, it does not mean -I- bear any grudge/anger/what-not against anyone.
Malicia, I sure hope you did not take my words to the ooc level, I don't know you, Reyn knows Malicia and since they are of opposing factions that basicly stand in extreme opposites... Reyn wouldn't be nice. You were angry with him for threatning a novice. The said person knew what he was doing, Reyn asked him to stop attacking the Krokani Lord, and he continued. Afterwards Reyn stated that if he catches him at it, he will kill him. No attack was made or anything of the sort- words are not actions, not yet. Reyn is very likely to get angry when he sees someone who is perfectly aware of his doings wrack his ability to get gold. His and many others for that matter- not that he is a huge supporter of public service.
Point is, by your reaction I just feared you took things to a level you shouldn't have. Hope I was mistaken.
have fun everyone

I thought for sure that Magnagora had an open-door policy, that allowed anyone who wasn't an enemy to enter their territory unharassed?
Not to mention, the Grey Moors isn't Mag territory.

They have this policy, except it doesn't apply to Glomdoring!

Things have changed a bit...
as for the moors, I didn't "shoo" him. I didn't attack him either, I just asked that he leaves the Krokani cook alone. I meant cook, not lord, meh.
Reyn never attacked -anyone- while they were hunting neutral territory. Never will either.

Im pretty sure I would be KOS in Mag territory even though I'm not even an enemy.

mag doesn't tolerate celestians, and are especially quick to kill merians so I'm not sure where they got the idea Magnagora has an open door policy

Wrrrrrrrrrrrrong.
Magnagora's easily the most tolerant org in terms of letting in non-enemies, or was last time I was about - there was always quasi-novice Celestians fannying about the Megalith. I just saw it as an opportunity to recruit new Maggies, rather than just chasing them off for no reason.
Shiri2006-06-03 11:40:09
Not really wrong...people get chased out from there from time to time for no good reason despite claims to the contrary. Most tolerant they may be, but it still happens quite a lot. Specially when people get jumped there for buying comms...
Jack2006-06-03 11:44:52
Okay, allow me to rephrase: it was (I'll log on and check to see if it still is) official Magnagoran policy that "not an enemy, not a problem". It fit in with the whole Ashtan-esque idea of freedom we had going on.
People like Murphy might still kill Celestians/Seren for being there, but every org has its... "brazen" members. *coughThoroscough*
EDIT: According to Ass-terror, that rule about non-enemies doesn't exist anymore. He could be lying, though. Can't trust his sort.

Yes, and they don't seem to get away without having it commented on and used as an example of the org as a whole either.
Jack2006-06-03 11:55:57
Bastards don't deserve to get away with it.
I'd kill 'em all if I had some kind of internet-cannon.
