Just saw this in IRC...


So my question is, is the cause for all this stuff known, or is it all independant?

And if there is a general idea of what is causing all the problems will there be an announce telling us when things should be fixed? I'm finding my 1-2 hours a day that I can play quite "adventurous"...

I asume this has something to do with the recent IRE upgrade and system reboot. Its a question for information, not a complaint.

My guess would be that they uploaded the changes to Rapture Matt wanted, and that some things weren't expected to be affected, but have been. I think we should all feel sympathy for the Lusternian Staff if this is the case; the change was forced and they probably had a deadline. I don't think these bugs are really lifethreatening enough to require a big moan, as I'm sure the staff know about them and are working them out.

When you are limited in the amount of time you can play, its helpfull to know which areas of the game to stay away from

That was my theory also Soll, but I wanted to know if that was correct or not.

Heh, I hope the funny teaching bug stays. It'll be the next nymph-pacifying-after-doing-a-comm-quest bug which does absolutely nothing but is slightly annoying.

Another possible reason is : Everything is working as normal save a few bugs that happened to pop up at the same time, only because our new builders keep randomly breaking things, so play as normal, there was nothing wrong with the IRE update.

I'd just like to know which one it is, before I have another evening like that last one.

I'd go with the "mad push to do update == strange bugs" theory myself. Give em some time, they'll sort it out.

One day, many moons from now, they'll have all the bugs fixed - and then some other update will be needed beginning the cycle afresh.
