I hate having such a one-dimensional approach to combat. Timed demense, vines, sling a couple runes...wait for it...waaaaiiiiit for iiiiit....and sap! I want the old surge back... then I might actually consider getting more lessons in athletics, but as it is it's not worth it for a mere 1/3 mana => health conversion. I also really dislike the Celest government right now... the Paladins, they're cool, for the most part. The math says he had barely over a third, which wasn't a majority last time I checked... Not that I hate you Sham, IG I just didn't want your char to be Princess *commence merciless teasing* I'm also pretty sad that Clise spends most of his/her time on alts now... Tervic makes sad noises because his wife isn't around enough I'm also really hating the forges right now... I can't seem to make a morningstar with over 210 precision for the life of me, and yet I hear all these tales of 230 precision and whatnot. That pisses me off. Another thing I don't like is Glom. I mean, I know they're following their RP and all and that I really shouldn't hate them, but goddamn the Tosha quest is hard to do if one has no access to spiders. Except the Gloms do, and they won't share. *growl*. I'd raid mag villages if I could actually convince people to do it with me, but noooOOoo we're a religious government and raiding hurts our relations so we couldn't POSSIBLY do that. I hate druids because they have never once shut the **** up about how pitiful and worthless they are. I'm pissed at the admins for ignoring 99% of the envoy reports, turning a deaf ear to multitudes of players, and generally taking on a 'grown-ups know best' attitude. We're only right when we're agreeing with them and we never understand how their changes fit into the whole and their plan for the future. Tell us your goddamn plan for the future and your grand vision so we could see if maybe we fit into it anywhere.

I'm also pissed that we never have a genuine event. We introduce new gods (Which we shouldn't, by the way, until we repopulate the missing ones), new areas, new honours quests, and every once in awhile we get a snippet of actual history, but I want some events that change the world, that shift roleplay while keeping it in the hands of the players, that let us mold the world in a dynamic way. New gods, new areas, fun little skillsets, those will tide over most of the playerbase for a couple of days but if you really want to satisfy us then GIVE US WHAT DREW US TO LUSTERNIA IN THE FIRST PLACE. First-rate storytelling, player influence, and the best goddamn history I've ever seen in a MUD.

This BS isn't cutting it. 6 months coding aetherspace? It's ****ing pointless. Those six months could have been spent fixing bugs, balancing skills and orgs, fleshing out existing areas, and holding meaningful events that allow the world to grow and expand. I didn't come here to bash merians for 20 hours or to whore honours quests, I came here to be a part of an epic story in an amazing world. And frankly, I've been let down at every turn, and so have the rest of us.

I hate Glomdoring leadership.

Never, once, in the entire history of Glomdoring, has a leader been challenged to a hostile election. They always step down. And in 99.99% of the instances, their chosen successor wins. This was, by the way, how our first two marshalls were both Fain-loving @#$%&^*s. And this means that, barring them both stepping down tommorow, Shayle and Xenthos will run the commune for the foreseeable future of eternity.

The worst part? I CAN'T HATE THEM FOR THIS. They're both good, dedicated players who spent 4x as much time online as I do, and they're capable, and they're freaking KIND. Xenthos gives me freaking FOOD at the drop of the random, metaphorical, blood-covered HAT. Shayle is...Shayle, if you don't know her, you suck.

This means that, for the foreseeable future of eternity, GLOMDORING IS SWITZERLAND. Never offending anyone, obssessed with itself, and even less capable of commitment then the American state department. Which means NO RAIDS, which means NO ACTIVE FIGHTERS, which means NO RAIDS, ad nauseum.

And the worse part? The only person in power who's hinted my lovely wolves might get some action refuses to give SPECIFICS. Which means I'm in the DARK. And I need to go finish my sugar low in the bathroom now.

I had forgotten that my past transgressions mean that everything I say is automatically lies and bull**** until the end of time. I apologize.

The only leeway the admins don't give you is to make another stupid shout quoting a Flash video talking about nuclear war, Guido.
