Earlier, had summon trying to summon me...wasn't in a demesne, wasn't regular summon.

So I asked what it was, someone said empress. But no one had me lusted. When I mentioned that, people commented that it worked anyway, but only local area.

So if this is true, it seems to be an oversight that it wasn't deleted along with will'o'wisp and demesne summon.

Also, TO CONFIRM, it is illegal to beckon someone outside of an organisation's territory into neutral territory, correct?

No. I issued Thoros for it and was informed that being beckoned from your territory into territory you are not enemied to is allowed. Also, empress only works on allies in the local area, and lusted people anywhere - if it was empress and you weren't lusted then it must have been someone on your regular allies list.

Doesn't the shield of each nation prevent summonings?

Yes, but not beckoning. And I'm sure that it wasn't empress that hit you.

ab tarot empress
Syntax: FLING EMPRESS AT
With this ability, you may summon someone from anywhere within the local area,
provided you are on his or her allies list. If you have forced yourself onto
that list via the Lust tarot (or a love potion), then you will be able to summon
that person from anywhere on the continent.

Hmm, well, there's always that possibility. But it wasn't beckoning, because that has a seperate message, it wasn't demesne summon because I was in a friendly forest, and it wasn't regular summon because that has a different message too. What else could it have been?

Subj: Fights Across Borders

This is a reminder regarding Lusternia's policy against circumventing
the PK system by finding ways to push people into enemy territory or out
of their home territory. If there are ways to do so, it is an exploit
for you to use them. Please report such a bug immediately as these are
ones we would like to close.

I think the spirit of our PK system is rather clear. If you want to
attack someone in enemy territory, you have to go there to do it. The
only exception are a few ranged attacks where the defense is simply
moving two rooms away. I'm tempted to even take away abilities to attack
from adjacent locations in separate areas but others have convinced me
that this isn't necessary. If someone does attack you from an adjacent
territory in another area, that is an automatic declaration upon you and
you (and your allies who defend you) are then free to kill that person
without repercussion.

We've recently coded tackle, barge and push to close the loophole where
you could push others into enemy territory or out of your home territory
(home being your city or commune). Magical attacks that do the same,
such as summon, gust and beckon have already been coded in the same
manner for some time. If you know of other loopholes, please let us
know.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Kiani, in the year 118 CE.

It is illegal, and if you continue to do so, as I shouted in game, I will report it.

There's also this, included for interest

Subj: Summoning Bug

It is an exploit of a bug if you summon someone out of his city or
commune into that city or commune's controlled village. This should be
obvious, but in case it isn't this is your warning not to do it. The bug
will be rectified soon.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Tzarin, in the year 111 CE.

Looks like the Norns were wrong. Should I reissue, or what?

I'd say yes, and refer to that post. And once you issue, say "delete this thread".
