I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that Iron Realms
has offered a higher level position to Lisaera. The bad news is that it
isn't with Lusternia.

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that this will be
Lisaera's last weekend in Lusternia before moving on to another
incarnation in our sister-game, Aetolia. As I'm sure everyone knows,
Lisaera has done a great deal of work here as a coder and administrator
and whose presence has been invaluable. On a personal note, I am going
to sorely miss Lisaera who has been one of our earliest volunteers,
having joined the team early in our development stage. It truly is like
having a close member of the family move out!

Make no mistake, this is a terrific opportunity for Lisaera, whom I have
no doubts will make Aetolia a better place.

so.. after distracting the coders of this game with a mostly behind the scenes update... they steal one, leaving tons of things that they caused to be postponed become even more backlogged?

I'm happy for Lisaera.. I just think its a horrible stroke of luck for Lusternia >.<

Charune's introduction makes more sense now. Congrats, Lisaera, you've been my favorite divine, and I still love you for your interaction with Guido. Good luck in Aetolia, and I hope the next person to fill Lisaera's shoes is half as talented as you are.

My only worry is that we now have one less coder, unless Charune or a new Eph is taking up the slack. I trust the admin enough that they wouldn't let Lisaera go if it would interfere too much with their projects, though.

Okay, so if you're leaving...

Go out with a bang! Do something really big before you leave. Cause a Hurricane or a Tornado or an Earthquake or something. Make war with Fain, or scare the crap outta Viravain or Terentia. Destory a Souless god. Make mushroom spores all over the basin that make people insane. Fill the basin with crazed fae or animated plants. Make a man pregnant with your baby.

Whatever you do, make it memorable. You'll probably be stuck coding for a long time in Aetolia, and you've been behind the scenes coding for so long here. Have a lot of fun on your last weekend.

Don't make war with Fain...make UP with Fain! That would be the most amazingly memorable thing ever! Lisaera makes up with Fain, then heads off into the Void to seek out new adventures!

I have to admit, I've never liked Lisaera. As a character, I have no use for her, and She never had a spare moment to even reply to me as a GM.

But she's done a ton for the game, inside and out. I'm sad to see her go. Best of luck with Aetolia; I'm sure they'll be the better for having you. Whoever we get to fill your spot is in for a hell of a time. smile.gif
