Already gave up my position as guildmaster and council member, paid 50K gold, and pretty much brought Kahazul back to square one in order to further persue his roleplay by heading for Celest. They just passed a law that means all new citizens have to first be unenemied to Celestia, and there's no way I'm about to raise another 150K (on top of my minimum 4 year waiting period) to join a city of imbeciles just so I can continue my established roleplaying. Nor am I about to go grovelling back to Magnagora - that would make even less sense. So until further notice, Kahazul is retired.

That's pretty stupid (although it makes sense, just sucks they happen to make it a law now when you want to join), although 150K really isn't all -that- much, but then again I don't think you're huge on bashing all the time.

35 credits is actually kinda a lot to many people.

Bring us back Daxera's head and your soul... and ya know we will welcome you with open arms

I think it's a lot to anyone if you're earning the gold to buy them off credit market. The point is, it's not like it would take a month to get that much. You can easily earn around 30-40K a day hunting merians (well, not in this case)/gorgogs, aslarans/krokani, etc in just a few hours.
Arix2006-06-24 05:43:43
it takes me an hour to get enough money for 40 credits

Well, you have to admit it doesn't make sense to citizen people who are enemies of the holy cosmic beings that we worship and our entire city is built around reverence to.

If the city is full of imbeciles (mind that I do not say it's not - hooray for potential flame war igniter! just kidding), why did you want to join it in the first place?

Roleplay, clearly

Oh, I am not talking about that post specifically. I just noticed how she doesn't fail to bring up any past failures of his whenever he posts something she doesn't like, for example. Like quite some other people.

Mostly because when you consider what he has done the past he makes seems a bit hypocritical a sort of like "How dare he?" sort of thing. It rubs me the wrong way. Perhaps sometimes I take it to far. I get irked easily. I am sorry.
Edit: I just posted the piccy there cause I had just found it on this neat website full of forum macros and it looked nice to use.
Edit: Posts = Past
Edit: I actually felt guilty last time I replied to one of his posts in that manner and I've been trying to be good and so on and realize that people change after he responded to me
Shaeden2006-06-24 16:59:26
Psh, Dax'll help you raise the funds. Hell, if she asked, Shaeden would pitch in to, 'cause he's a pushover And yeah, not losing me wife to someone who wants to go inactive

Ialie, I love you no matter what you do.
I'm really not that upset by the situation as it stands. If Kahazul had joined Celest I likely would have retired him shortly afterwards anyway, because it would essentially be the completion of his 'story arc'. Over the past month or two he's finally come to terms with himself and his past, and has sort of come full circle, having developed along the lines that I set out to go with him. His time in Celest would be spent lounging around doing nothing.
When I create a character I don't really set out to be 'that guy who's been around since open beta and has been in the city for 70 years and is GM, orderhead, demigod, and all-around badass veteran man'. I'm looking at you, Ixion! My characters have a beginning, a middle, and an end - they pop up, go along and develop their RP, and when their RP is 'resolved', they slide off into obscurity - or make a rather big bang, in the unfortunate case of everyone's second-least-favorite Furrikin (he's still better than Furloch, damn it). You could see that in Guido, and you can see it in Kahazul. They've been around, they've played themselves out, now it's time to conjure up a new hellraiser.
Shit, this post ended up being rather long.

Serves you right after I got you elected and trusted you(despite all the warnings), not even a month later you pull that . Think your plans through before hand and have all arrangements done. You should have secured your spot long before you even considered leaving Magnagora.
