Im a complete newbie at this: What sort of stats make a good weapon? A decent weapon? What range are the numbers from?

There is a thread on weapon stats on the second page of this subforum, by Daganev. It's not fairly accurate, but fair enough to get yourself oriented if you're a newbie.

however, you sould know that any "limit" will eventually get broken since the limits are not hard coded, but rather found by experience.

if one in 10 thousand has a stat higher than the ones listed, I'm not going to put in that new stat.
