I hate these god damn storms. It won't move! It just sits here and dumps rain on us. Damned if I know where I'm going to park the rest of the week; I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole damn island under water when I get there. I hate living on the banks of the longest river on the east coast. Damn large drainage basin. angry.gif

Yeah it's been raining here every day, kind of annoying :|.
Vix2006-06-27 21:15:41
Hasn't been raining here at all. Been having these really light drizzles and lots of thunder for several days straight which is weird.

Same. Terrible for business, good for me 'cause I'm lazy. rolleyes.gif

OMG you too? I know just what you're going through Sylphas! It's been raining here constantly for the past 5-6 days. Kicking my connection (even power sometimes), flooding randomly and so forth.
Diamondais2006-06-27 21:30:26
Weve been getting night storms, and early morning ones. The days are constantly gray and the lakes all choppy and gray-brown. You can also see some of the sludge. sad.gif
Hazar2006-06-27 21:35:28
I'm in the midst of constant showers. Rather irritating not knowing when it will be sunny and when it will be pouring. Changes every few minutes.

I daresay it's more random than peaced influencing.
Unknown2006-06-27 22:52:57
I seem to be the only one so far bathed in constant sunshine.

Slightly offtopic, but I can't help but laugh when people build houses on the banks of rivers and in flood planes and then get pissed off when things get a little wet tongue.gif.

But yes, send some rain our way, right over our catchment area which was built where? Oh that's right, in an area that gets very little rain. Go smart people go!
Fain2006-06-27 23:07:45
Teh Fain does not like the rain.

The rain makes Teh Fain get wet on his walk to work.

Terentia, get over here and banish it to the Void.

Lucky for me, even though its been raining every day for what feels like forever, I still haven't had flooding. All the water runs downhill to somewhere else and floods there. *cackle*
Yrael2006-06-28 00:11:48
It's *winter* and we have sunshine.
It's also a grand total of 3 degrees celsius at the moment and I'm swathed in three blankets.
Jahan2006-06-28 00:48:23
It's rained over in the Blueridge Mountains for 5 days straight. I went out with a crew to survey some flood damage (in the rain of course). Have you ever seen a giant sycamore float down a river and crash into a picnic table? I have. The picnic table lost.
Sylphas2006-06-28 02:34:25
Wasn't my choice to build here. And I'm not in a flood plain, just my work. I have to leave an hour early or so to find a path around all the flooded roads and crap to even get there. sad.gif
Unknown2006-06-28 06:27:05
I'm on the westcoast where its been 100+ for the past week. I'd kill for a storm tongue.gif
Forren2006-06-28 08:24:17
I'm not far from Acrune. Here in Maryland, it's been raining. A lot. I think we've had like ten inches of rain in the last two days - something crazy like that. It's not supposed to stop til Thursday.
Iridiel2006-06-28 09:16:03
About 30C at its worst, sun enough to get tanned just by going shopping, and not a single drop of water in the past two or three weeks. I'd even be grateful for a little storm to freshen things up.

Gotta love Barcelona smile.gif

Awww...cryin' to Terentia are we? Why don't you just banish yourself, mr. Ph3ar Me? Sorry..tongue.gif Couldn't help but comment on that.

Any, someone quick! Make a ritual of rain banishment!!! And banish it to Las Vegas, we could use the rain...well I personally don't know right now but I've got a good guess! And stupid people would thus die and I won't have to worry about people trying to kill us.
Vix2006-06-28 15:23:37
*nature rain*
*snort spores*

Yeah! A little of Metro was shut down earlier in the week. Not to mention there's that dam break now in Virginia (Is it Virginia or was it in Maryland?) and the nearby citizens needing to evacuate to shelter. A new storm system is supposed to come through again tomorrow or something too. wacko.gif

Haven't lost power through any of it though.
