Todays Canada Day, so happy Canada Day to you Canadians and anyone else who cares.
Canada is 139 years old today, not very old for a country, but were getting there. Earlier we welcomed many to our country as citizens, some of which are children. The news reporter that was attending asked a few children if they liked Canada so far, and what they liked about it. The answers were about the history and all the neat artifacts around us as they said. But the thing that pulled on my heartstrings was this: many of them loved Canada because there wasnt any wars to deal with on their front doorstep. Makes you look around and see what you take for granted, doesnt it?
