I've seen this idea in other games and was reminded of it when I was reading the Ilyrias forums. Basically it's called THINK where it just displays a thought to yourself.

So you would do something like this...

3060h, 3240m, 2700e, 10p, 14200en, 15100w esSx-
A mouth appears and says, "How do I look?"
3060h, 3240m, 2700e, 10p, 14200en, 15100w esSx-think like a festering sack of Wakabi dung
You think to yourself, "Like a festering sack of Wakabi dung."
3060h, 3240m, 2700e, 10p, 14200en, 15100w esSx-say Stunning my dear, simply stunning
You say, "Stunning my dear, simply stunning."
3060h, 3240m, 2700e, 10p, 14200en, 15100w esSx-

I think it would just be neat little thing that could really spice up logs and I know some people enjoy doing these kind of things. Also, maybe add an ability in Psionics that allows the Psion to see the last thought of a person and maybe an ability in Telepathy where you lock a channel and see whatever they think.

Heh. Interesting idea, but I just don't think it would be used enough to be worth coding. However, if it were added, definitely add something for Telepaths to read it. That would be groovy.

I can't imagine it would take that much time to code, if they just threw it in during the next updates.

But have the / or . be the shorthand for it, the same way ' is for say. That way there's a chance of accidently thinking out loud.

And I would definitely use it, fo the record.

Not everyone would use it but I, for one, approve of this idea.

My luck with mutter is horrible. It randomly either blanks out everything, or only one letter.

That's what I keep finding, it doesn't seem to do randomised muttering anymore.

Think would also serve as secret communication between all the telepaths in the room. Lots of fun.

Except Telepaths have a way to communicate with each other already, whilst also ignoring planar barriers.

Mindlink wouldn't be as casual, versatile or fun though.

I like this. Dreamweavers should be able to read them too while possesing them. Actually, Elryn, could you tell me if we already intercept their says?
