So I just got back from watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I have to say it was pretty awesome, Davey Jones and his crew looked badass. Though I had a feeling that it would end the way it did.

So has anyone else seen it?

Just got back from it. Good movie.

Bastards and their insistance on trilogies.

Quite. At least Two Towers had the battle at Helm's Deep as a major thing that happened and finished.

But Dead Man's Chest was good/funny/interesting and visually appealing. I saw the midnight showing the night of the 6th-7th. And then laughed at the horrible review the newspaper gave it the next day from someone who hated the first one too.

Looking forward to At World's End now!

Yeah, my newspaper graded it at a 'D'. Odd. I didn't actually read it though, a friend told me about it, so I'm not sure of the reasoning.

I loathe most movie critics for the same reason I hate traditional book reviewers who give scathing reviews of graphic novels. If it doesn't fit their notions of what art should be, it's worthless. Which is total crap.

And of course Johnny Depp is never painful to look at

Movie was good. Ending sucked though.

I think Tia Dalma is one of my favorite characters ever. Just sayin'.

That's how I always picture Ladantine.. Davy Jones. Now I will think of random organ music when the ship is raised. I really liked it. I had to wait all weekened to see it because I had some kind of job like thing to do. yuck. It was corny and sometimes predictable but it was really awesome to see expecially Davy Jones and crew.

Loved the movie.

HATED the ending. I also hated Elizabeth through half of it. I don't want to spoil anything, but she got my hopes up near the end and then CRUSHED them with one click. Johnny Depp was AWESOME, Orlando was hot as usual.

And my god, Norrington, do me. . I think he almost surpassed the other two in sexiness towards the end. Almost.

I hated the ending but other than that it was good. Oh and did anyone other than me see the bit after the credits?

Saw it the day it came out (here at least, which was Thursday) and loved it. Didn't see the casting on IMDB so I was appropriately shocked by the return of... a certain anonymous individual, who will remain unnamed until such a time as I deem spoilers suitable. As per usual Johnny Depp proves himself to be the greatest man who has ever lived. EVER.

And I saw the bit after the credits. I didn't really want to, but the people I saw it with bodily held me down and propped my eyes open with lollipop sticks. However, given the undead monkeys plot significance in this one, I'm sure the dog'll turn up again in some ironic fashion.

WHAT!??! There was more after the credits?!?!?!

Oh well, I already decided I want to see it again with my mom once she gets home.

I thought that the 2nd one was good.

My sister knew -person- would come back because of the monkey! Come oooon! How could you not know that -person- wasn't dead with the monkey running around? Best part I think tho is when they go see the witch and Capt. Sparrow holds the cage up and shoots it.

But who will Jack shoot without the Monkey.

I wasn't sure whether I should have been amused by the after credits scene or fearful for the puppy.

IN my personal opinion, the monkey was the best part of the movie.

I want an undead monkey. =p
