So, I've been messing around with a few things while trying to lay the ground work for a system, and was trying to figure out how equilibrium (and balance too I suppose) work for skills. I know with weapons in combat, the speed of the weapon influences how fast you regain balance, but is there something like that for example when my Mage is blasting away at rats or orcs? It seems to be about a 4 second equilibirum, but would this change if I had a lower/higher intelligence?
Also, on a related question, when you lose equilibrium more than once, for example, hit by a spectre when off eq, or evoking pentagram and teleporting back to the nexus at the same time, do you simply regain equilibrium when the last of the effects disappears (i.e. they're independent), or is there some amount of stacking together?

EQ (faster to write than equilibrium) is not dependant on intelligence. It's dependant on the type of skill (some have shorter EQ regain than others) and your racial (sometimes also from buffs, like swiftstripes) balance. No INT here - and good!
I never actually tested it, but as far as my experience goes (for example - shield+link node), EQ regain times DO stack.

If pushing hexes is any general indication, they most definitely do stack.
