I know I've been a loud critic of the trend in Faethorn to date, but having heard through the grapevine of the return to different methods for both communes I'm just so relieved and thankful. For me this was by far the most frustrating aspect of Lusternia, and I had thought it (and the issue more generally) would never be considered again.

Thankyou, whoever had a hand in resowing those seeds of distinction, you are wonderful.


I don't think I am yet ready to try a return yet, since I'm still very raw about these things... but when the dust settles I am looking forward to seeing what becomes of it all. For all the consuming passion it evokes for good and ill, I am still so very fond of this unique little world. At least I know now that it is not locked into the fate I had assumed it was heading towards.
