I'm thinking that in writing letters, why not make it discern the handwriting of people? That we may know if this is from the person you are expecting the letter to or not.

A small, change, no biggie but what do you guys think? smile.gif

Taht would be great, and in dramatics we can have a skill of forgery which makes our hand writing look like someone elses... and then when people on market ask for forgers they could actually get some!

..because anonymous letters are useful for things?

But if Dramatics had a skill to disguise it, then I'd support it.

Dramatics too would work, and probably need a high skill in discernment maybe to check the handwriting?

Ohhhh that sounds cool. The disguise would be good to send evil hate mail. >.>

And that would just make all the people bug me all the more when I say "forger for hire."

I've started advertising myself as a smith now instead, just to avoid those... weirdos.

but Yes! This sounds like a highly neat idea, especially because I forget to sign my name a lot when I send a letter.

I've always been sorely tempted to tamper with politics via misleading letters, but I'm afraid some divine would just root me out and maggot me.

Heh, same, actually. There's a lot of fun to be had with letters having no trace of who wrote it, except the location it was sent from.. but I don't know if I completely trust people to keep it IC.

I can just picture people going onto Bellator or AIM and asking about a letter they got from someone they might not otherwise approach ICly, only to find out it wasn't them who sent it. And of course, because it was OOC, there'd be no reason for the person to deny sending it, and it'd just end up being cast away, and any possibility of roleplay turned pointless.

Would They?

What is the point of this again??? Who cares if people mail you letters... I hardly ever read them I just check to see if there are presents inside... if not... I just throw them away. blush.gif
