I'm not quite sure what I want to do with my life yet... Maybe go into the Air Force flying the new F-22 Raptor ( ) or go into Software Programming. I'm at a loss...

I think I did the dumbest thing ever.

I've been a nurse for almost three years now, and I was offered a position as a Director of Nursing. The idea scared the hell out of me cause I've never had any experience doing anything like that, and I turned it down. I wish that I had not now. It onlly had one set back. Working daytime hours. I hate working during the day. Working nights is awesome. I suppose if I am happy with what I am doing now that is all that matters right?

I supose, but money is also a GOOOD thing that makes people happy!

I'm considering Medicine. If I'm not able to acheive that (It's incredibly hard to get into here), I may try for teaching.

I thought about teaching History, actualy... I History

I work for a marketing company that specalizes in getting leads for colleges and training schools. Folks see our ads, brochures, and net ads and then contact the school through us (for the net) or mention our ad or mail-out and we get paid for the lead. You know the commercials you see for schools like Remmington College, ITT Tech and so on? Well that's the sort of stuff we do. Well, on the media side. We have a full print-shop so we do our own mail outs and then there's the internet.

I work on the Net side helping create micro sites and directories of schools as a content manager (fancy name for data entry) and helping to create paid ads for said sites. I recently got handed part of the web designer's job when she quit. I also get assigned side projects like writing informative articles and training manuals and designing promotional documents on occasion. It's a fun job really, though we're grossly understaffed at the moment which is causing stress.

My life is all about travelling, whenever our group is called to perform a show, we'll be there, for now we're just doing it local but soon enough, we're going to be travelling around the world!

DUH! I'm just saying. EVERYONE wants to be a doctor. Noola and I are the only ones who want to aspire to/are already in the computer business!

I'm double majoring in computer science and math, a programmer would be a desirable job for me.

I want to be a teacher. I cant take the sight of blood and see docters way too much already to be one.

I couldn't be a doctor. Or a nurse. I get grossed out by mucus.

When I was in college, I was waiting for the RAs of my dorm to hand out the orientation packets and these two girls behind me were talking the internship one of them did at a hospital (she was studying nursing). Apparently this guy who'd had a trachiotomy (and I just butchered the spelling of that!) hadn't had the procedure done right. I forget the details now, it was years ago I overheard this and I wasn't hip to the jargon then either. But anyway some sort of gizmo they're supposed to put on the trach tube thingie that moisturizes the air so your lungs don't dry out didn't get put on right so the air going into this patient's lungs was too dry. So, they put one on to fix it, but then the mucus in his lungs had gotten all thick from being dried out and this girl and an actual nurse had to help clear it out. Using suction and, when he'd cough it would come out the hole in his throat and they'd have to clear that by hand.

Hearing this story convinced me I had no stomach for doctoring.

Blood, no problem. Mucus...I can not control the gag reflex.
