I wondered what would happen if I tried to attack a missing limb. I finally got my answer from this:

5034h, 3258m, 3933e, 3p, 23020en, 13510w elrxk<>-
Your weapon passes through where your target's arm should have been and
continues on towards the chest.
Focusing on his chest, you strike at Ixion with a warrior's iron greatsword.
Your blade bounces off his sternum, delivering only a shallow puncture.

Hey, I knew it ages ago, and I am the one who sucked as a pureblade.

Works for legs too, but strikes gut instead.

You didn't suck as a Pureblade. I just think you went into it not expecting much out of the archetype, and that is exactly what you got.

He went into it looking to prove us wrong. That it was equally balanced with BC and BM's.. which I if I remember right after being one for a short bit he agreed that we needed tweaks.... Just like you agree. I think it was just easier for him to switch to a warrior class that he was more used to (one handers) than to ride the wave and wait for the appropriate tweaking. (I could be wrong though)

Two-handers need some tweaking, Axelords more so than Pureblades. sleep.gif
