Just some questions for how exploring/rank work-

As far as I know, flying adds to your explorer rank as walking would.

Burrowing? Trees? I don't know. I also heard you can climb up into mounatins, or something of the sort, but I don't even know how that works, or if it'd add.

Also, how often do explorer rankings update? I know it isn't instant, and it doesn't seem to be per-weave.

Lastly, do manses count? I've played Achaea, and houses/subdivisions never counted so I'm assuming it doesn't here, either.

I would think that trees or burrowing counts as being in the room and adds to your explorer rank, as flying does. And I think explorer ranking updates are instantaneous, I think I've been in the realms exploring on purpose and watched my rank go up.

I have no idea if Manses count.

Explorer ranks are weird. They seem to update periodically when you gain a certain amount of points, I think.

They certainly don't update immediately. I've actually gone around checking before on alts, it's not instantaneous, I'm fairly sure it works off some sort of points system. Especially when you gain the next rank when you've still got another ten of the same rank you just PASSED still above you in the rankings. :/

Oh, another question.

What of sprinting? Would it be all of the rooms, or just the two you sprint from?

Can't get through Avechna's Peak without it.

Sprinting doesn't count.

I think sprinting is like teleporting through the rooms you sprint through. You never actually enter them.

Manses don't count. Sprinting doesn't count.

It doesn't matter what elevation you're in, the room is only counted once.

Guildhalls, aetherbubbles, villages, and cities/communes DO count.

Does exploring in dreamform count?

No.

You sure ? It should if it doesn't. Exploration and Espionage are kind of what the skill is all about. If it doesn't, then it can be classed as another dreamweaving glitch, I think

Exploring in dreamform counts. I've used it to explore enemy territory extensively, and seen my rank go up. One of the reasons I picked Dreamweaving in the first place. (I missed astralform. *cough*)
