I became very bored the other night and decided to write some Shrine descriptions for Morgfyre. I only managed to get the war shrine done before I discovered his shield shrine description has already been wrote, and thus likely his other shrine descriptions, so I post this here for posterity. WARNING: Lovecraftian overtones abound.

Area indication - A stifling odour of nether gulfs and the wailing of damned souls chokes the area in an oppressive cloud, evidential of a War Shrine of Morgfyre nearby.

Short description - Insubstantial shades of madness surround and enshroud the semi-transparent shrine here.

Long description - Wriggling foully, a multitude of transparent serpents writhe and cavort in a cannibalistic orgy around what at first glance appears to be a simple slab of stone. A closer examination, however, reveals it to be some ephemeral material, as light and fleeting as gas yet somehow maintaining cohesion regardless. An abhorrent half-light enshrouds the somehow alien construct, as if some foul and forgotten piece of the Void is shining through the fabric of creation and bathing it in an eldritch, ghoulish fluorescence. From it exudes the screams of countless damned souls; those wretched and unfortunate enough to have encountered the hunger of Legion are immortalized in both this torturous wailing and in the shifting, insubstantial altar, as it moulds and mutates itself into bas-relief faces, contorted in the most hideous of grimaces. An unsettling odour wafts outwards from this bizarre effigy, an all-pervading cosmic stench made all the more foul by its essentially alien nature.
