Okay. I just wanna get this strait. I'm just TRYING out being a Paladin. I'm not getting rid of Ryld, because he's too popular! Now, onto my questions.
What would be a good way to go with a Loboshigaru Paladin? I'm thinking of taking up Blademaster, but I'm not sure. I hear that Blademaster is like the best specialization you can have, or whatever. But, it doesn't matter. I'm taking it.
What would be good abilities to have to become a good fighter? I've got a half-way done curing system (still need the Diag Curing script to finish! Post if you have ideas for an ALC one! ) since it's like, MANDATORY to have one.
If you have any other suggestions, please post, and thanks ahead of time!
NOTE: Send Esano a big Happy Birthday!

As a Paladin, I'm suggesting that what you wanted to be, take it, but since you decided to be a blademaster, then be one.
As for good abilities, I suggest trying to trans Blademaster first since you can do a lot of afflictions with your skills, then next would be to trans Athletics as well, the third skill, is up to you, either be a hunter or a sacrament user, both have their ups and downs. (Though we need hunters now because we sometimes need to track down certain denizens and items with the help of your faithful dog).
That's all I know for now, let others pitch in their suggestions and ideas about your character and it's up to you decide which one you'll take.

Trans blademastery, trans sacraments. Get to surge in athletics, puissance isn't worth it.
get three pairs of weapons:
230+ precision scimitars
190+ precision rapiers
270+ precision rapiers
Script an auto-razer, and put in some echoes for when you get certain afflictions on enemies.
Then the basic defense skills, i.e. trans combat, resilience, and at least focus mind in discipline.

Loboshigaru, best race for Paladin without credits!
So good choice.
Your only disadventage is weaknes on magic, just get resistance in athletics and use draconis. It will help.
From weapons what Nico said, but i think that 2 pairs should be enough, 230+ prec scimitars and 270+ speed rapiers for hunting, if you want three then i would go with high damage broads for finishing or for team combat. But scimitars will be god in team combat also.
First get Blademastery to trans then Athletics to Strength, Highmagic to Geburah or Yellow in Lowmagic.
Surge wont help you so much as Loboshi so save those credits for more athletics and use it to trans Sacraments: dazzle, honor, numen, heretic/infidel/inquistion, rezz, sacrifice, trueheal. Those are really cool skills.
And having just heretic helps too, few semi-masked afflictions are nice.
Ohh and Judge, its nice instakill in team fights, less good in one on one but still nice.
Thats my opinion.
And good luck!
