So, I've gone through all the help files and looked at all the maps for aetherspace, and I don't understand mad.gif . How do you navigate aetherspace? Is it possible to get somewhere without being part of the crew? Please help.

You can travel by ship and not be part of the crew, just sit around on the aethership while someone takes you somewhere. You can use aetherspace to get to any plane, which you can get to without an aethership, and to aetherbubbles, which can only be reached via ship. The ship's pilot navigates aetherspace by steering the ship around it, with a nice little map to show where the ship is and what aetherbeasts are nearby, which looks exactly like one of Elryn's maps.

If you want to explore aetherbubbles, ask your city/commune if anyone will take you. Remember that many are quite deadly if you are low level.

Bah, Shorlen pulled a ninja.gif on me. What he said biggrin.gif.
Gandal2006-09-05 15:46:39
Is Crumkindivia dangerous? I have an influencing alt (who's a guildless Celestian) and I heard that Crumkindivia's good influencing.
Everiine2006-09-05 15:48:33
Crumkindivia is only dangerous if you attack the denizens. Or someone has just done the quest biggrin.gif.

Is Crumkindivia dangerous?

99% of the time, no. If you see something mosntros and oh so wrong, RUN.

It used to be, it was nerfed into the ground. You're better off in the other two good influencing places, I think.

What are the other two good places? I go to Tosha a lot.

That new observatory is just as good as Tosha, I think. The denizens are a bit better than the normal monks, but there is nothing there like the Tosha masters.

Okay, I'll check that place out now. Just curious: how good was Crumkindivia?

If I'm remembering correctly, I could get 2% experience at level 76 or 77 from influencing one gingerbread man? Or am I thinking esteem. chin.gif It was a noticeable gain of experience, at least, which most things aren't any more (so I tend to pay attention to esteem more). Just didn't get to go out there more than a few times, some of which they were already influenced or dead and unavailable. Popular place. biggrin.gif

Was it good gold as well?
Unknown2006-09-06 16:44:10
If you don't mind not earning gold, the Daughters and Ladies are great experience and esteem. They give around 1+% at low 70s, and almost 2% esteem. They're better than guards, they reset around every hour, they're all in one place, but down side is you lose gold and you're not helping your commune.

What are Daughters and Ladies? My influencing alt's Celestian.

Daughters and Ladies are Fae Champions that the Night and Moon Avatars summon from Night and Moon when we bring Fae to them.
