Well I doubt many people here can/are going to travel to Toronto for the film fest tongue.gif But maybe you've heard about it! (www.bell.ca/filmfest) There are some really awsome films, and hundreds of them too. The horror movies look very promising as well. Mm... right now the ones I'm most psyched about are The Banquet (trailer here: http://www.helloziyi.us/Movies/night-banquet.html, with ZHANG ZIYI ( wub.gif ) and Pan's Labyrinth http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/10006709-p...th/trailers.php.

The South Korean movie 'The Host' looks pretty funky too, hope it comes out in theatres at least. And I know Daganev is probably looking forward to 'All the King's Men' tongue.gif (which the RT crew gave less than satisfactory reviews, but critics are really harsh these days).

Soo... any films you look forward to?

Our country have 2 entries: Twighlight Dancers and The Bet Collector (Kubrador)

Twighlight Dancers is a story of male strippers in a night club, being harassed by gay patrons. Our Movie Regulatory Board rated it as XXX so I dont think it will be shown locally. glare.gif
Hows that for a description? http://www.e.bell.ca/filmfest/2006/films_s...tion.asp?id=324

The Bet Collector (Kubrador) is a story of a woman who earns a living by acting as a mediator in gambling, or so I've been told. http://www.e.bell.ca/filmfest/2006/films_s...tion.asp?id=173

Watch it! frenzy.gif
