Short and sweet, anyone have any logs that validate if spring traps do indeed check summoning resistances? I know I've hit 10 recently without doing so... which could be a string of bad luck, but I've heard others say they haven't resisted any either. As such, I'm curious.

I have not seen any example of my spring traps being resisted so far. I do get the feeling that resistances are not working as well against spring traps as they do against skills like gust and tackle. Those two latter skills I see get resisted a lot when I use them, and I was under the impression that spring traps should experience the same level of resistance.

I've hit so many spring traps that I couldn't begin to guess at the number.

There was a bug that made me spring back and forth between rooms at least 100,000 times. It was so fast I couldnt read the text, and dropped of my massive buffer in seconds on celestia a while back. Not a single resist there either :/

Why aren't spring traps used up when they fire?

I was about to ask the same thing. All other traps can only work once, that I know.

Spring traps are under normal circumstances. That bouncing back and forth is a bug in more than one way.

I'll point out that the bouncing alll happened in a fraction of a second. It took my zMUD five minutes to process all the incoming text, but I was only bounced once as far as anyone else saw. Then they killed me, because I was just sitting there. For five minutes.
