is it me or am I the only guy around who can't access to these sites?

I had trouble with Lusterwiki the other day. Not so certain right now.

He took it down, it was costing him money and not enough people were using it. There's a thread about it a bit ago.

I could get to it a few days ago, maybe I should check soon. I love Lusterwiki!

I found it strangely coincidental that Ironrealms stopped being functional about the time Ilyrias was dropped.

Not that I'm blaming anyone.

If you check dates, Jalain posted on both the Lusternia and Ilyrias forums about a month before Ilyrias got nerfed. Coincidence? No.

Jalain closed his wiki for reason A, Baram closed Ilyrias for reason B.

Reasons A and B are not related. That's why it's a coincidence.

Aww that sucks, but at least I know why now and can take it off my favorites list.

It's a coincidence if they appear even somewhat closely related, which these aren't.

Now, if you want to talk about coincidence, take Ilyrias going away and me redoubling my efforts in The Revolution. That's a real one.

Jalain closed the wiki because acording to him nobody used it (I think nobody wrote on it, but I know that people used it for information) and I think he was going to start another project or something on that line. Don't recall now exactly. I guess he wanted a wiki to be more of a collaborative effort than just what he could write on it, and he had problems with spam as well

About Baram, I think he didn't close Ilyrias. He just announced it was closed (the person rapture was licensed to hasn't show up again in the forums since all went bad).

He stopped all the problems with spam when he required people to make an account in order to post on the wiki. Also, after he said how he wanted people to update it a lot of people, including myself for a lot of it, added the skills back and kept them updated and I adding an entire section devoted to the Planes.

I just relay what I heard on the ilyrias forums, would post a link to the thread but I don't want it edited out

Personally, I used them but if I ever get around publishing IG information on the internet, I'll make my own website I guess

Right, I was just pointing out the fact that after Jalain told everyone about people not updating it a lot of us started to update it again.

The wiki going down didn't have anything to do with the untimely demise of Ilyrias.
I would like to make a new portal, but I just don't have the money to do it. I also neglected to renew the domain reg, so I would need to pay for that as well. So it's not very likely.

It's all good since Elryn stepped up with the Scrying Pool.
