Lately, we've been working on trying to figure out WHY we haven't been getting new players. So, instead of focusing on the negative, I have an idea. Why don't we try to come up with some ideas on how we can get more players to Lusternia? Lets make a thread dedicated to this, which this is.
My ideas so far:
Tell any friends you don't have playing yet to come here.
Vote more often
Poster campaigns
Making changes within our communes and city
And that's all I really have time to think of, as my professor is giving me nasty looks for being on the internet.
What can you come up with?

I've BEEN trying. My friends are all like "Hmm... sounds like a lot of typing and reading to me." Lazy friends!

My friends tried it and all left.

Well Friend A was here before me and friend B hated it because there was too much conflict. And he is such a non PVPer.

What I've found, at least in my little town, is that the older generation grew up without computers and either have no interest in games in general, or are to computer illitirit and become to frustirated to play.
Those who are around my age, 19 , depend soley upon pretty graphics, fast paced action, and giant explosions for their enjoyment.
Neither of my friends will even give MUDing a try, I showed this to them and they said it'd be to much reading.
Then I showed it to my father, who played it for a little while, but he forgot to register and never bothered to re-create a second character.
