In keeping with Estarra suggesting bullet points instead of lengthy posts here are my problems with and possible solutions to miniature battles.
- A basic figurine costs too much. Perhaps make them cost 1 powerstone, 1 marble and 1 gold.
- Add-ons like packed sparkleberry and magic script cost too much.
* Magic script could require ten sips instead of a full vial.
* A figurine could eat pieces of sparkleberries and therefore not need as many to be packed.
* Poison coating could require ten sips instead of a full vial.
* Knuckles and helmets could require only 1 steel per item.
- Knuckles and helmets break too quickly. They should have their lifespan significantly increased.
- Personal preference here but the battles could be slowed down just a tiny bit.
- A level 1 figurine with multiple add-ons does not seem to do better than another level 1 figurine without them.
- Increase effectiveness/frequency of add-ons generally
- Increase the starting number of months of usefulness.
- Allow an option to make a figurine a collectible wherein the months of usefulness increases to something like 200. Using this option would make the figurine unusable in battle.
- Add a skill in Artisan to allow the creation of figurine display cases that reduce their rate of decay.
That's all I can think of for now. Some of these I stole from Richter too.

Sounds fair. Personally, my biggest problem is that there's no actual input, and comes completely down to either randomness, or outlay.
Just not to my tastes, perhaps, but what about some sort of mid-fight change of your figurines tactics?

My personal opinion is that it should be more like Pokemon.
No, really. You order your figurine and on the next round, it does what you ordered it to. What moves it can perform is governed by its level and add-ons.

I tried responding but I just woke up so my brain completely messed this up. I'll try again later.

I think I've already made two threads about this. Stuff needs changed if they want the system to be used.

I really, really love the idea of playing the miniature battles. As someone who paints miniatures every now and then and enjoys playing the real minis games, I'd like to see the miniatures in Lusternia be a system everyone can enjoy playing.
I'd like the miniatures to last longer, especially if we're going to encourage all the enhancements for them. Who wants to pack something with 50 sparkleberries when it's going to decay in 30 days?
I'd also like to see some way that you could perhaps 'encourage' your miniatures to use certain cures or attacks. It'd be almost like pretending you're a god messing with your tiny mortals.
