Just wondering, what is the best Blademaster weapon for hunting? I've been using broadswords for quite a while now, but just decided to try out rapiers. My broadswords are 152/155/157 and 163/145/176 (not too great, I know). They're usually runed for +10 to all stats. I quickly forged a pair of rapiers, which turned out to be 70/114/259 and 51/136/260. I also runed these to boost the stats. Not too shabby for hunting in my opinion.

It seems like the rapiers make hunting go a tad bit faster for me, but I can't be for certain.

from what I was told strength only matters in hunting, damage does little so I'd say rapiers were the way to go.

Yeah. Highest speed you can get is the best. Weapon damage does have some effect, but it's VERY small. Not outweighed at all by the speed increase.

rapiers all the way, if you end up with 300 speed rapiers (with runes) regardless of anything else you will hunt really fast.

And by runes, I mean the generic rimyur, gukyur, and duryur runes you get from forging. I could get 290 speed at the most with those. I guess I'll get started on making some speedy rapiers.

Yea rapiers are best.
Max speed is 280, for long time i thought its 279 cose i hade quite a lot of those but later i saw like 2 or 3 with 280 speed.
So get 2 rapiers with 275+ speed, add forging runes and nighkiss and you will get 295+ speed weapons.
